FRAUD
I too think i have been scammed and have looked into a class action suit HOWEVER... when I did a search to see if there was already a class action suit I ran into this paragraph on their website. It basically says that you will not participate in any way in a class action law suit if you use their website. Now tell me that isn't admitting that your gonna do something to cause people to want to do that. How scary is it that you have to agree to this and that you don't even know your agreeing to it when you use the site. It's such a shame. And it totally blows me away that these HUGE companies are associating themselves with this kind of scam artist.

rebate fraud
I wish I had read some of these testimonials about this company before I ordered cable service from them. They promoted a $50 rebate offer but then make the conditions of actually getting it totally impossible to fulfill. I ordered the service in late January, had the cable installed sometime in February (took forever/Time Warner stinks too), I am supposed to have the rebate form postmarked 3/31/09, but service has to be on for 60 days first. Anyone see a problem with this? After that they will rush the rebate out in 10-16 weeks for processing. Give me a break...when is this company going out of business? Soon I hope.

I am always skeptical of rebates but this one is a patent scam. My cable service is also much more expensive than the offered price...due to equipment rental fees. Dishonest business should not be allowed to flourish. Bridgevine is a joke and should be shut down. Unlike Google's motto "Don't be Evil, " I think Bridgevine's is "Lets lie, cheat, and steal and hope no one notices."

fraudulant practices
I ordered cable through with an offer of a rebate of $125.00. when I received the rebate form, it stated that it expired 3/3/09. I did not contact bridgevine until 2 weeks after that date and they never told me that it was too late. They told me how to get form and just told me that I needed to have it installed prior to 3/31/09. which I did. I was supposed to mail the first bill in with the form, however, when I received the form I then learned that it had expired. After going on line to check on bridgevine, I. found numerous complaints about the same thing or similar

Rebate ripoff
I ordered services for Comcast triple play was told of a Bridgevine rebate of $325.oo in September of 08. They are a company who never sends out rebates and I am still yet to have mine. Then they sent me an email stating that my request for my rebate has been denied because they already paid the maximum amount for my address.I have been going back and forth until finally I was told that the check had been sent where it is they don't know, weren't going to cancel it, and basically it was my problem. I would never do business with this company again. Someone needs to do something about this company before it gets worst

Rebate Scam
I signed up with Bridgevine for Comcast Double Play (cable tv and high speed internet) in August 2008. They clearly told me it would be $ 66/month for 12 months along with $ 225 cash back and free modem and router after mail in rebate. I have the print out from their website saying so. Gonna attach it here.

When I contacted Comcast about it, I was shocked to find out that the promotional rate of 66/month is good only or 6 months. I waited to see howBridgevine would respond to it. They told me Comcast had the final say on it. I sent my rebate forms for the modem in time and waited. I did get the rebates back- one from D-Link and one from Bridgevine. However, when I inquired about the $ 225 cash back, they told me I had to send in another rebate forms for that. In the beginning when I asked them about the cashback, they had clearly told me once modem rebates are taken care of in 10-14 weeks, they would send me the cash back money. I now found out that was a lie. I had to send in the rebate form for the cash back too. Since I was not told about it then, I am out of luck for that cash back money of $ 225. I think they are so disorganized that they haven't even updated that I have already gotten the rebate for my modem yet. It still says it is being processed. I am definitely going to file a complaint against Bridgevine with BBB. I have the copy pasted version of their Comcast Double Play (for cable tv and high speed internet) with me. I hope that will be sufficient to bring them to book. If any of you happen to have the original printed version of it, that would be great. I didn't have a printer then, so had to settle for the copy-pasted version. Any body care to assist me with this mission? If you could, please write to me in my e-mail [email protected]

Fraud
I was defrauded of $100 from Bridgevine.com
($50 router rebate and $50 cash back)

Bridgevine.com online purposefully and intentionally withholds needed information required for rebates.

This prevents the customer from receiving the rebates offerred in their ads online.

The purchase records and order confirmation numbers (they state they provide within 24 hours) which are needed for rebates are never received by the customer even after repeated email and phone requests. (All my emails and phone call records are available. I have a large folder on this)

There is a consistent intentional behavior to defraud at multiple levels of the company.

They do not honor their offers and intentionally and willfully stop the customer from completing the necessary information required on the rebate.

Here are their offer online.

I exhausted all means with Bridgevine to get the information for the rebates.

Order internet service through...
http://www.roadrunnerspecial.com/index.html?PID=google:roadrunner_b&gclid=COzXu6nWi5UCFQKaFQodxAurqg

They processed my order.
tran post ref number desription Amount
7/22/2008 7/22/2008 022257 BROADBAND 888-375-4610 888-375-4610 FL $64.90

I went over twice the procedure and offers with the representative.
Respresentative fully agreed.
Bridgevine processed the order and stated that the only change was that the local Time Warner would provide the modem.
Offers online for $50 router rebate and $50 cash back were confirmed.

I immediately started the paperwork for my rebates.

I contacted Bridgevine by email and phone multiple times over the course of the first month.
Each time they did not respond or refused to give me my order number or confirm number I requested.
These are needed for the rebates.
I followed their procedures.

Near the end of the rebate period, they made a new claim, by the supervisor, there was no order done by them.
They kept stating this until the rebate had expired.
They would not take my phone records or my credit card records as proof of purchase by them.
Supervisors were requested by me.
Supervisor's response was I could cancel my order.
They have on record the purchase of the router but refused to send me a purchase.

I still have the rebate forms, but without information from Bridgevine, they would not be honored.
