Company has ignored my request to Validate Debt they are attempting to collect on behalf of Midland Funding. They have also filed a lawsuit (May 9, 2008) that I only became aware of in January 2009. I too have been harassed by this company. They call multiple times per day and never leave a message. I finally answered today and the woman said I had responded to an offer on the internet and they wanted me to purchase a sample of a weight loss product. I responded to an ad concerning this company. Unlike Lisa, I never received ANY information at all. No disk, no brochure, no nothing. I attempted to cancel my "free trial" on several occasions to no avail. I called within the hours of operation listed on the website, however, all I could get was classical music then a dial tone. Receive many calls trying to update my LOCAL.com listing. When all was finished they put me through a few questions to answer. I think it was the last or next to last question the computer generated voice says, in 7days you will receive a mailing and if you dont cancel in those 7days you will be billed $49.00 on your phone bill. Obviously if you aren't paying attention you would miss this and if you don't pay attention to your mail (thinking it is a piece of junk mail) you would be billed. receive numerous calls all hours of the day and night. I answered one call yesterday, 2/23/09 telling the caller to stop calling. A male voice with a heavy spanish accent replied, ok, gracias. I received another call today, 2/24/09. I did not answer. No voice mails are left. If you call the number, an automated answering services repeats continually. Mr Tescher and his staff are the most incompitent, rude people I have ever come across. In three years they have given me the run around on my workers comp case. Its like they are on the side of the insurance company. I have had five surgeries and am set for another because of an infection which could spread to my brain and I cant get an appointment to meet with my attorney in person to find out whats going on. I think that the Child Support office needs to be investigated to make sure that they are doing there job, and have everyones files done the right way. On February 16, 2009, at about 14:40, we travelled back to Mozambique, to Matola, from Richardsbay. I have frequented this establishment a number of times with very little problems. Recently I went to the bar and gave two pieces of I.D. (completley real) - my drivers licence and my care card. The bouncer who was at the door took my drivers licence, grabbed his key and scratched out the year on it. He then peeled my Care Card and handed both pieces of id back to me saying that they had been tampered with. After traveling in Italy by rental car in March 2008 I have now received 2 traffic tickets (8 months and 10 months later) stating I drove in "unauthorized" areas.
