Just bought a Nordictrack Audiostrider. Got it home and assembled only to discover that it runs on batteries (4 D cell) or you have to purchase the power cord seperately. Their customer service tells me it is an accessory. This is a $1000.00 machine. The ads tell you about its work out programs, the fan on the console, Iift card, how resistance adjusts automatically while you are working out and its speakers that your MP3 player can hook up to, all things that require power. This company bills your telephone bill for calling cards that you never ordered. When the phone company was notified they immediately recognized it as a fraud and took it off of our bill. A lot of phone company employees are also finding it on their accounts. This company is also know as USBI. They even charged for long distance service on my computer line. DUH. I applied for DSL Service over the internet for our home in Owensboro. Bell South offered a $75 rebate for the modem if you applied on-line. I did. After months passed, AT&T took over Bell South. I inquired about the $75.oo and was told that it would still be provided... just watch the AT&T rewards site and it should be available sometime in Jan. When I contacted AT&T today... I was told there is no record of that reward... but it's ok because they will provide a credit for the amount of the modem that I have already paid ($15.00). I am the VP of a small sports supplement company. We have been using UPS and the USPS to ship our products for over 7 years. Dealing with the long lines and rude to non-existing service at the Blythebourne station is unacceptable. On 25 Jan 08 i went into the studio to print passport photos i urgently needed for an interview. The staff were rude and high-handed. One staff member undermined the authority of the lady who was serving me, suggesting to me that she did not know what she was doing. This firm sells discount packages for a variety of goods and services for a $1.00 charge to your credit card... they had the number. How they got it I do not know but they said it is a service from the credit card company. I asked very precisely if I had to cancel anything and they said 'no'. I have spoke to Bonnie several times and have not been able to get my problem resolved. She said it was my problem the court gave the wrong information. I applied on crags list on this cashier job and got with this barry-household.com company and it sounded like a legitimate company, they sent me a counterfeit check to buy some software, and a printer, and a computer, for the company use so i would not have to tie up mine. I paid Heritage Web Design $700 last February to create a NEW site for my candle business. They are in the "top 1%" so I figured they must be good, right? NOT!!! Once they have your money, forget it. This company claims that you can make lots of money by referring people to your website that you purchase from them. You then have to pay additional money for them to send out emails on your behalf, promoting your website, and yet there is no way to tell if they actually send out these emails that you have paid them for in addition to the money that you paid for the website. I ordered goods on the 4th December. After 4 weeks I canceled as the goods hadn't arrived. They agreed to cancel but ignored my request for a refund. They also ignore all e-mails inquiring about my refund. Since the order, there has been 2 gambling transactions on my VISA statement which don't belong to me.
