I have been fighting with their tax dept for 8 months - trying to straighten out the mess that Citi Lending left behind. I bought a Tumi backpack based on the lifetime warranty claim. At the time I bought it, they offered lifetime. But now they want to charge $125 for repair open seams by the zipper and strap, and between internal compartment! You can not find a phone number anywhere on the site, and when you do find the number (800-431-3462), you will stay on the line listening to the same country songs for up to twenty minutes than the line cuts out. The service was snaking a kitchen drain. The cost -- for a visit of 1 hour--was $371.54! Based on my research online, this is well above the highest costs in a range that starts at $90. When I called for the service, I was told that the visit would cost $79, and tha that fee would be replaced by a standard cost for the needed service, once the service person could assess the problem. While being insured with Golden Rule/United Health Care, I have had nothing but problems. I started my insurance coverage on Feb. 23, 2009, and my husband went to the doctors March 9, 2009 and they would not cover it. Then I went to the emergency room on May 31st, 2009 and my copay(which they call deductible) was $100. I was formally told by Golden Rule that was all I would have to pay $100 if I were to go to the emergency room. Well my final bill was $581.00 that Golden Rule would not pay.
