Time to start telling the truth 02 gear shop.com about how you really run your internet operation.
Facts: Placed order on Monday 2/7/11 at noon. All items in stock with quantity for each item above six units ( shown on web-site). 02 gear shop confirmed receiving order by 2 PM same day. Received this statement at bottom of invoice:
"All in stock items will be shipped via UPS between 24 and 72 hours from the time of purchase unless otherwise noted and followed by a shipping confirmation email containing a UPS tracking number.
24 hours later-2/8/11 receive e-mail that order was received by customer service.
Thursday afternoon 2/10...72 hrs after order received, no shipping confirmation or tracking information set to me. So I e-mail customer service about my order. 4 hours later no word so I make a direct call to customer.
I speak with a female customer service representative and give her my order number. After she looks up the order, she assures me that my order will be shipped out Friday 2/11/11 and I would receive it by Wednesday 2/16/11. Well it is 6:30 PM and no shipping confirmation or tracing number.
Would one say a half truth or all out lie?????
So the questions are: Do they not have enough staff to fill the orders...or are their stock levels non-existant and when they receive an order they turnaround and order from a distributor or directly from the manufacturer which may explain the delays in order date to "potential" future shipping date?
Or...Maybe their entire staff is too busy making up written customer satisfaction reviews to hide their very poor and shady business practices. A lot of similarities to the praise reviews posted on those web-sites.
Will not ever deal with this company again since I have no faith or most of all "TRUST" in them.
Their prices are not worth the headache of not knowing if the order will be filled and then waiting so dam long for something paid for weeks ago.
