Faulty product
On 4 -4 11 I ordered speakers from this company. I received them on 4_8_11. 1 of the speakers did not work properly.
I haVE EMAILED THEM, called several times and have gotten no response. they advertise tech support(who you cant reach
because no one answers the phone. its to bad they want to sell you their product, but dont want to service it.
I have alot of equipment to purchase and it surely wont be from 123DJ .com.

horrible customer service
i just want to mention that i have spent thousand of dollars with this company over the past 10 years maybe even longer. but on march 26th i was treated like a dog. i purchased 2 dns 1200 cd players and i was going to use them as software controllers. unfortunately i was unable to get them to work correctly. i believe i did not have the correct software. since i was unable to use these items i decide to return them. i spent 900 dolars on these items. these jerks charged me a 177 dolar restocking fee. i understand that these are the rules at their company but i figured since i have been a loyal and faithful customer for over 10 years they would be willing to work with me. boy was i wrong. i hate to mention name but that jerk named russell i pray that he burns in hell. he treated me like shit.please everyone if u can please stay away from 123dj located in chicago. they are the worst. i plan to go there in the near future to pass out flyers to people that shop there to let them know how horrible they treat customers. i plan to stop at nothing to disrupt some of there business. and the way russell made me feel i hope i never see him on the street. hes going to regret it...

Unprofessional, Unreliable
I will never give this company my business again.

Promises regarding shipment times were made over the phone, but not kept. E-mails regarding customer concerns went unanswered.
Shipments arrived late; sometimes in questionable condition. Items were poorly packed for shipping, often using wads of tape around refashioned boxes, with very little padding. A recent light stand that I purchased arrived with its adjustment knobs shattered for this reason.
123djs "All Sales are Final" policy means that any problem with a product which is not immediately apparent will probably not be dealt with. Any return authorizations given are at the customer's expense for return shipping and for store credit only.

One of my recent orders went missing in their warehouse for a couple of weeks. When I called to check on its status, they realized that it had been set aside, but never shipped.
I purchased from this company online three times and had problems each time.
123dj is out of strikes and out of chances with me.

I advise all professionals with deadlines and the need for reliable equipment to avoid 123dj.

Straight up SCAMMERS!
EVERYTHING, I repeat, EVERYTHING bad you've read about Minimax Electronics, Inc. DBA "123DJ.com" is 100% TRUE! I wish I had read their reviews prior to ordering from them. I won't go into too many details about my personal order, BUT believe me and all the other folks complaining about them when we say DON'T TRUST 123DJ.com! Don't trust them, don't buy from them, don't even engage a conversation with those rude, conniving, lying a**holes. They'll take your money, won't send you the equipment you ordered, or send you the wrong thing ON PURPOSE. They don't even have 90% of the gear they "sell" on their website. They don't check emails, they don't send them, they don't make phone calls to confirm orders, they blatantly lie about shipping your order. STRAIGHT UP IF I LIVED IN THE CHI, I'D GO STRAIGHT TO THEIR STORE AND CONFRONT THESE FOOLS...maybe I should save up some money and make a trip...that's how much they pissed me off

Damaged product
I ordered some Odyssey Blackout cases for my technics. Both cases arrived damaged like if they were used before. Scratches, Chips and some of the damages and rivets were covered up with black marker. Tried to call and was told they would call me right back. A few hours later I called Odyssey and asked if they color the rivets on the cases with marker and they said no and that I would have to contact 123dj.com. So I called the next day and talked to Elie from 123dj. He said he dosent know what happened but he would try to fix the problem as soon as possible and that he would call me back. Ive been on the phone back and forth with this guy for a couple of weeks now. They never call back, he keeps telling me he'll call me back but dosent. I have to call him. Ive sent this guy pictures of the damages and he's starting to act like I damaged them. I started Calling these people as soon as I opened the boxes. Customer service really sucks. Every time I call and ask a question the just sit on the line. Im like HELLO!!! I tell em my problem and thier like." ok what do you want us to do"? Then they put me thru to somebody else. Its been thee weeks now. DONT BUY FROM 123dj.com !!!

BIG HEADACHE
123dj.com is headache don't order anything if you dont want to have nightmare. I order numark djio on 11/07-09 and they send maya 44 after 2 week. I sent maya 44 back on I call every week to get my money back is almost 2 months after and I still haven't got my money I call 10 times and they always say "don't worry we credit back to your card" and never happens.I don't know what to do next may by loose my money <br />

Beware
BEWARE OF 123DJ.COM...I cancelled an order because the shipping to Florence, S.C. was $225 or more and I found an alternative option that was only $70 shipping from a location even further away. 3 days before it was shipped I called by phone. The person on the phone was rude and said if he couldn't stop the order thru the warehouse (implying it was at another location) When it arrives just sign refussed and return it. I told him it was the shipping price I had a problem with and he said O.K. and repeated "sir, just refuse it". So I said, "what about the shipping charges? Then the idiot said, "you'll have to pay for that!" Then I said, "well why don't you just stop the order?"...let's shorten this by saying it was clear he was trained to force the shipping charge on me because later I contacted Jay at the shipping company (a third party) and was told that was extremely high what I was being charged...obviously they were making a profit from the shipping!...This made me upset. I had a sence the guy on the phone was intentionally going to make sure my order was not stopped in time...So then I followed up immediately by email and repeated for them to stop the order. ...Then I called 3 days later and Neil (said he was the manager) said it was shipped at 2pm and appologized and acknowledged it was their error and there was plenty of time and opportunity to stop the order. Neil said he wanted to find out who was working Friday evening because the warehouse (that turned out to be DOWNSTAIRS), was never notified...the email was never read (so Neil told me)...Let's shorten this again...Neil lead me on that he would talk to the owner about a goodwill gesture in the form of a store credit...let's shorten this even more...Neil never even called me again and one guy even hung up on me when I called and said Neil was working on a goodwill gesture for an error that occured...these people are shady in my dealings with them...and to top it all off a power conditioner that I got in the order worked for 30 minutes...no company is perfect but if they lie and conspire against their customers you need to beware!!!...I went on to spend several thousand dollars thru 2 other online companies and they could have made much more than they ripped me off for because if they would have been decent about it, I would have ordered differently around their shipping terms to make it work for me but the quick profit is obviously more important...I hope Neil chokes on his shipping profit and shady tactics...and if he truely did speak to the owner and he was a party of the stall and B.S. they put me thru I hope it shows on there end of the year bottom line year after year...I'll spread the word in my area along with all my band members...If you feel the same...copy and paste and add your experiance...DON'T TRUST 123DJ.COM

Nightmare
What a nightmare it was dealing with this company! Please do your research people, because this company is not worth the hassle! I placed an order for a whole new outfit of DJ equipment. This included the speakers, speaker stands, speaker bags, 2 cd players, mixer, amp, wireless mic, cords, and coffin. You name it, I bought it. What a mistake! One of the cd players was DOA and I had to send it to the manufacturer for repairs as soon as I got it. The headsets that were suppose to be free with the purchase of the cd players never came. The speaker bags didn't fit the speakers and had to be returned at my expense. The speakers never were in stock and they finally agreed to contact the manufacturer and have them sent to me from there. It was one problem after another and the customer service is the worst! Either they put you on hold and never pick up again or just feed you what you want to hear but never follow thru. I received numerous promises of how they were going to send me this or send me that and fix the problem, but nothing ever materialized. Emails never get answered. You think you're getting a good deal because of the prices and free shipping, but believe me when I say, go to another site because you won't be happy in the end!
