I placed an order via the website: www.1800bagwallet.com on March 12, 2009 and entered my credit card and other personal information. I requested that the confirmation and delivery of purchased item be sent to my personal email so that I could keep track of the item’s delivery.
I was unhappy to find out that not only did the an email not be sent to me, but from looking at my bank account ( of which all information was submitted on their website) the item did not show as being deducted from my account. To date, I have requested via email message to the company's “help desk” more than 2 times for some kind of information, response to any of my inquires and have received NO RESPONSE from their office.
At this point, I am livid!! I feel completely taken advantage of and am terrified that my personal bank account information is floating out there for anyone I feel at this point, to financially rape me.
I have mailed a letter with copies of all my email correspondence sent to the help desk directly to the company in California. I also am contacting my local Fox news station and my local Attorney General’s office so that I can try to get some help.
I don’t know what to do now and am very, very upset.
