TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
I paid $80 for flowers to be delivered to my wife's office on our anniversary. They arrived and the arrangement looked like it cost about $20 to put together. All but 3 roses died within 3 days. I called customer service to complain, but their computers were down, so I was told to call back tomorrow or send an email. I sent an email asking for a refund, and was told they would replace the arrangement and the company would have to pick up the old flowers. I replied that this was not what I wanted as my wife doesn't work at her office full time and would not be there to receive them. I stated clearly that if I didn't get a refund to forget the whole thing because I did not want replacement flowers. They replied back that they wanted me to be satisfied and would issue a full refund on my card.

Five days later, no refund, and my wife's office received a new flower arrangement that looked a lot like the first one, only it wasn't quite dead yet. I sent yet another email expressing my displeasure and quoted their reply that I would receive a refund. At this point, I'd had it with their customer service and told them to just forget it and leave me alone. They emailed me back that a customer service agent would soon call me on the phone, at which point I replied again to JUST LEAVE ME ALONE.

This company is terrible. Their customer service agents can't do their job properly and their flower arrangements are horrible and overpriced. I will never, ever again use this company for flower delivery. They lied to me outright and did exactly what I didn't want them to do. They promised me a refund and gave me more lousy flowers. Thanks for nothing, 1800flowers.com

Fraud and scam!
I placed 2 orders for flowers, the first were sent to my sister and while they arrived they were definitely not what we had ordered they were supposed to be shades of purples. The ones she received were UGLY they were yellow and white and no purple plus they were a total of like 5 flowers. When I complained they said they were delivered and they would not help further. There goes $50 I was quite embarrassed at the horrible flower arrangement. My wifes were supposed to come yesterday they never did. However we received a delivery conformation and when I contacted them they said my wife signed for them. BULL we have to go out of town and spent much of yesterday shopping. I told them I am going to contact my laywer and I will produce receipts for whatever time they say she signed. I am also going to file theft and fraud charges for someone forging my name! I will call my sister and find out the florist who delivered hers maybe it was the same one who forged my name 1800flowers refuses to give me the local florists!!! I will not stand for someone forging my name!!! Thats fraud!!! There goes $100.00.

Non delivery!
I'm just devastated that 1800flowers.com would take your money and not even live up to there guarantee of "available for same day delivery" I'm just at a lost for words hey failed to deliver my Valentines day order on 2/14 or 2/15 mind when I placed the order it said that it was available for same day delivery. I placed the order on 2/12/2008 and received a confirmation of the order on the same day. When I called them tonight on 2/15/2008 they're telling me that it will be delivered on Monday 2/18/2008. Monday is a holiday I'm not at work on that day and neither will she and I know dang well she is not going to accept a Happy Valentines Day gift on that day! I don't want that sorry ass apology they gave me. I'm stuck but I will be disputing the charges!

False advertising!
I was sent an advertisement from 1800flowers.com, to order flowers, it showed a price and description of the flowers to be sent. When my wife received the flowers it was nothing like what was advertised, I was totally embarrassed by what they sent to my wife. Instead of a plant with a bunch of flowers in the pot, she received one flower, and there were two sticks along side the single flower. (The sticks looked like chop sticks). I called their customer service, and was told, that eventually the plant when full grown would look like the advertisement. This company should not be allowed to be in business, they are nothing but scammers. I would like to sent you pictures of what they advertised and what was sent to my wife. I will never buy from this company again. I intend to notify the BBB in my area.

Four days late
I ordered flowers for my Grandmother, at over $70. They were to have been delivered on Saturday (Grandparents Day). I filled out the online form to send her an e-card letting her know that she was getting a flower delivery. Big mistake! By the following Monday, the flowers hadn't shown up yet, and she'd been waiting for them. I called on Monday and they told me that the local florist was out of the flowers I ordered. They claimed they had tried to contact me. I told them that something needed to be delivered to her that day and they said "It shouldn't be a problem". Tuesday came around, no flowers and no contact. I called back again and this time I was told that no florist had ever picked up the order, because there weren't any florists in that area that could access their system. When I asked why they accepted my money for delivery to that area, they said they have no way of knowing at the time the order is placed whether or not a local florist will be able to fill it. I will never, never, never use this florist again!

Anonymous flowers? Tough!
My mother received flowers for her 82nd birthday today. The card had a message on it but was unsigned. A call to the delivering florist asking the identity of the sender was met with questions of her own. The shop owner had earlier tried to contact 1800flowers to find the same answer. Chick at 1800flowers said she could not give out the name of the sender. I told the florist I would call later and find out myself. I called this evening and spoke to a nice young lady. She also was unable to give me the name of the sender citing their privacy policy. She called the sender and tried to get an OK to give out his name. He was not home. I asked to speak to a supervisor. I waited for a LONG time until I was "DISCONNECTED" before the supervisor got to me. I immediately called back, spoke to Chris and said I wanted to know NOW the name of the sender. And to give me a supervisor please. Soon, Kyle came on the line and again cited the privacy policy. What about my mother's privacy??? I explained the situation our family had been going thru the last few years and we would like to know if this was again a police matter. He told me if I was that upset to call the police!!! I doubt that Kyle would even give the police the name of the sender. Hey I guess no one you know has ever been stalked and harassed and taunted. Protect the anonymous sender... fine... you won't see me at ANY of your conglomerate sites... ever.

Valentine's Day was ruined for me and my wife!
I ordered some flowers from 1800flowers.com for my wife for Valentine's Day to be delivered to her at work. The delivery was guaranteed to be delivered on Valentine's Day and never got there.

I got worried around 2:00pm on Valentine's Day, so I decided to call and check on the order.

When I called the message said that all of there representatives were currently busy and ended the call. I didn't even have the choice of waiting to speak to someone.

I never got through to anyone on Valentine's Day and my wife never received her flowers. The day after the delivery person called and said that she was unable to deliver the flowers yesterday and couldn't say what time she could deliver them today. I called the local place that was delivering the flowers since I finally had the number that I was trying to get from 1800flowers the day before when I couldn't get anyone. I asked about the guaranteed delivery date for Valentines Day and I was told that I would have to take that up with 1800flowers.

I still can't get in touch with 1800flowers. I just keep getting cut-off. Valentine's Day was ruined for me and my wife! I would not recommend 1800flowers to anyone. I had a guaranteed delivery date but no flowers and couldn't get anyone form 1800flowers. A company that big should have a way that someone could get in touch with someone when there is a problem instead of just getting cut-off.
