I booked 1st Rate Digital Services to move an internet & BT line, fit a large TV bracket to the wall and attach the TV hide wires, and tune home cinema. Work they assured me they were very experienced at.

They were a nightmare, difficult to contact did not turn up to arranged re-arranged appointments (I should have seen that as a warning sign) eventually did turn up spent nearly whole time taking phone calls. I was busy when they were there, so could not monitor them they left saying everything was done except some conduit to hide cable which they did not have with them but which would be fitted later, at a glance it looked ok and (I am a trusting soul)so I paid them in full (cash in hand). When I had the time to check their work it was appalling. The telephone line is now too crackly to hear anything. The TV was not fixed correctly and wobbles the home cinema sound was not set up properly. I called and requested that they return and finished the job properly and supplied the missing conduit. They promised they would and we arranged a date which they did not keep nor did they keep any of the other appointments just kept fobbing me off with false promises. Despite threatening legal action the problems have never been sorted and they will not take calls from me now. For my sanity's sake I have given up trying to get this resolved but anyone considering using this company should be warned about them. They quote on their website that all all their customers are happy! well this is one customer who is not happy and guess what; they don't feature my comments on their website so to ensure the truth is known I listed them here so no one else gets ripped off like I did.
