Good Morning Nick or UMOVEFREE Staff-
My name is Chenae account# 1078661 with your company and I found your information on the internet under complaints against Umovefree. I initially learned about your services from my step-dad Adam who has used your services several times and swears by it. I relocated to Texas on February 25, 2011 from Arkansas and immediately jotted Umovefree down on my rental application. My agent was Kat Lilley and for the most part during the initial phase she was very helpful. I elected not to take advantage of the free move because I was moving from another state and I decided towards the cash rebate. Well from a few of emails below as of today’s date I have not heard anything nor have I received my cash rebate. I was told by Ms Brandy Fossett that the hold up was on my apartment community end as they had not sent over the referral fee.
I immediately contacted the apartment community and they stated that the fee was actually sent over on March 24, 2011 and that I needed to work with you guys. I emailed both Kat and the Rebate Manager Brandy Fossett and informed them of this information only to be told that my inquiry was being referred to the Collections Department. I have since then called and left messages plus sent emails to follow up and have heard NOTHING. It is very frustrating to say the least because there are dozens of agencies such as yours and I chose your company because you came so highly recommended. I am contacting you to see if you can follow up on my rebate and actually have someone respond to me and let me know what the problem is and when I will be receiving my rebate? Also my step-dad was promised an incentive for referring me and needless to say he has received NOTHING as well... I have emailed you at a personal email address I found on this site as well
