Auto Repairs
The Thompson Service Department could not figure out what was wrong with my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It began in Feb of 2007. 4 Radiators, 1 heater core, 1 blendor and many, many, many heating system flushes and 3 years gone by they finally figured out the head gasket had blown out on the vehicle. Then preceeded to blame it on me that I should have know when each time I picked the car up they insisted they felt like they fixed my heating and cooling issues @ that particular time. They said the head cold have a small crack but they would see what they could find, when I would pick it up they said "we think we got it this time" It is fixed, I believed them. It seems like crazinees now, they could not figure out what was wrong with my heat, it is almost comical thinking back. I spent $12, 000 plus on service and repairs to this vehicle in the past 8.5 years as a customer and they told me there is nothing else they could do and the General Manager said and I quote "this conversation is over" and hung up on me after the Service Manager was rude and insisted this whole ordeal was my fault. Unbelievable and they wonder why the government had to bail them out? Well their customer service and customer care focus is not where it should be. I just picked the truck up paid $1, 007.00 more and the Jeep is not able to be driven because the forth radiator could blow anytime. They refuse to assist me. Well that is what you get for believing in there techs and trusting what you where told. I have a terrible rattle in the dash and a busted gasket which I took the Jeep to a second mechanic to get a second opinion, it took him a whole minute to take off the radiator cap, start the Jeep and watch the coolant gush out of the radiator. They had no clue for 3 whole years -- I have documentation on everything that transpired, invoices and E-Mails to one of the service administrative personal. I keep everything! So if anyone needs a reference for Thompson's and want proof via E-Mail corrospondance and their invoices to me you are welcome to see them, available upon request.
