I bought a brand new 2004 Cavalier with only 200 miles.
It was in the shop for the first time within one week at 500 miles for a front end alignment. That should have taught me then.
Now, with 44k miles on it and a little over 2 years ownership, it has been in the shop over 25 times.
This car randomly dies, not only when I am stopped, but also on the freeway. Real safe, right?
Now, after I got an oil change and a state inspection, the car needs a tune up and it will hardly start. When it does start it won't shift gears or go above 20mph.
Chevy has yet to tell me what the real problem is with this car and why it dies all the time, let alone why I need a tune up already.
This car is a death trap and I am just waiting for the day I'm in a major crash.
Maybe then Chevy will do something. They should keep these garbage vehicles off the road until they are fixed properly.
I can't believe a car that I have paid off is this crappy.
