I authorized for my car payment to come out of my account on 9/15/09 and normally when a transaction is pending the amount is suppose to be froze, and not reflect on the account... Two days later I went to atm to check my balance and noticed that I had more money in my account the I was suppose to, so I called the automated teller teller to see what the problem was, and for some reason they hadn't froze my money, so I realized that I needed to take more money to the bank because I had made a couple of transactions since then... I had to work that night so first thing in the morning i woke my daughter up and headed to the bank I called automated teller teller once again to make sure it hadn't came out... which it didn't. After getting to the bank, I had to wait at least fifteen minutes for someone to help me thru the drive the, and I deposited the one hundred dollars. I checked the receipt afterwords it said my Available balance was over 400 dollars which meant that the car payment didn't come out. The next morning I decided to check my account to make sure it finally came out and see what my balance was after, when I placed the call i realized that they charged me an over draft charge of 30 dollars out of my account.
I immediately went to the SW Fort Wayne Branch to speak with a manager, which she was real rude with me saying that I need to be more responsible and bla bla bla... So obviously I got nowhere with that so i called 3 Rivers costumer service and they said that the the payment was trying to process as I put the money in the bank and that was why I was charged. I wasn't happy with what this lady was telling me so I called back again to talk to another person so I could get more information, the lady told me that the transaction started at 8:49 while I was still waiting on their slow drive thru employees as they were inside talking and that I deposited the 100 in the account at 8:59 so I was charged 30 dollars for over draft that never showed up on my account even at 8:59am, The second costumer service representative and the manager at the branch were very rude, and need to work on their people skills. Where is peoples humanity and with the economy the way it is you wouldn't think people would be this petty.
