misrepresentation
my dad had told me about this ad he heard on the radio about a free 300.00 gas gift card and he wrote down the number and gave it to me. I called the number and they went through there whole speech and told me that in addition to the 300.00 gas card they were going to send me they were also going to send me 100.00 gift card to target, 50.00 gift card to walmart, and a 25.00 gift card to the restaurant of my choice and all it was going to cost me was 25.70 and it would be to my home in 7-10 business days. so about a week and a half later i finally receive the letters so i open them looking for all these gift cards that were promised and all i find is stuff I have to fill out and send to another company and the gas card is not a gift card for gas it's a rebate program which you have to register for and send your registration form back by certified mail and then you can only purchase your gas with a credit card on this program and then send your receipts in to get 25.00 back every quarter or term or whatever they use. so I called the company and this guy comes on the phone and asks if I'm calling for the 300.00 in free gas and i said no i want my money back he gave me the number to call, so i called listened to all there options and the one i picked said that all the employees were out enjoying a christmas party {i thought of course they are I helped to pay for it} so i then called back and tryed a different option and finally got a hold of someone to speak with and i told him that i was promised all these things and not a one of them were delivered and I wanted my money back because all i received was this rebate voucher for gas and he said that's the gift card and i told him that wasn't what i was led to believe and he basically told me sorry about your luck and let me just say he was the rudest person i had ever come in contact with, but if the company wouldn't mislead people they wouldn't have to have such rude people in there customer service department.
