Yesterday I rec'v a call from a gentleman by the name of Max Reed from the Federal Loan collection dept. ( 310-405-6402) out of California. He stated that I got a loan from an online agency by the name of US Cash Advance, at the time of the call I was unsure if I had gotten this loan or not so I proceeded to check my account info when he was talking to me about this law suite being filed against me. Of course there was no such deposit made into my acct., but he had my personal information on hand as if I signed for this and he threaten that if I didnt come up with $ 536.39 by the end of this week I would have three serious charges brought against me and I would need to contact my lawyer. He told me that he could not send me any information in regards to this matter, because the client he was representing would not allow this to happen. This person has a very thick middle eastern accent and was very rude and really acted as if this was a true allegation against me and wanted me to type up a letter stating that I would pay this money back and fax it to him along with a copy of my driver license, of course this never happen. I wasn't going to give anymore tools to hurt me. Everyone just beaware of scams like this, people are so cruel.
