3ix Hosting would have to be the most unprofessional, scamming, pathetic excuse for a hosting company I have had the misfortune of dealing with. My site is constantly down with the standard excuses being "there was a little bit of load on the server" or "we are rebooting the server and services will be back in 20 minutes" (more like 2 hours)
They advertise 99.7% uptime. THIS IS A JOKE! They refuse to refund money even after they advertise in their Service Level Agreement that ...Web Site Availability Credit 95% to 99.4% = 25% 90% to 94.9% = 50% 89.9% or below = 100% In order for you to receive a credit on your account, you must request such credit within seven (7) business days after you experienced no Web Site Availability. You must request credit by sending an electronic mail message to [email protected].
They advertise a FREECALL 1800 number in Australia for contact. This number never answers and any messages left are never returned. Can anyone suggest somewhere in Australia where I can lodge a formal complaint about their practices?
Also, NEVER use 3ix!! There are many more reputable hosts out there.
