Stay away from these people as far as you can
There was a deduction of R199 from my bank account. I did not give permission for this. I e-mailed them in March to get my money back and they said 'they will search for the phone records.' I did not hear from them again. I e-mail again a week later and was told the same thing. I e-mailed them AGAIN on Monday (19 Apr 2010), but this time they did not even reply. Clearly they are going to search for this 'phone record' indefinitely, because it doesn't exist.

Stay away from these people as far as you can.

I will make sure to tell every single person in my contact lists about this and luckily they are more than willing to do bulk e-mail forwards to everybody that they know as well. Nice and easy to spread the word with the click of a button

Deducted money but never sent goods
I was contacted in august 2009 to ask i would like take out a membership which will cost R199. I agreed to it an the money was deducted from my account it has been 6months an i still havent recieved the vouchers. When i contacted their call center the agent had an attitude an when i asked for their head office details she said they dont have one. Due to their **** service i want my money back.

Stay away from 3Mobile
When I logged my first complaint a consultant did contact me and asked me to forward through documentation of (Bank Statements) from a year back, to which I forwarded on and have not received any feedback. I am not blaming 3 Mobile for this as this could have been lost through the way. I left this issue as it was as I am tired of dealing with this company however today I am renergised to tackle this issue as I have just noticed that I was billed again. I expect that someone contact me with a resolution to my initial issue and the new one that has arisen. When the consultant spoke to me first he asked for proof which I can gladly understand however I am confused as to how without my banking details they can debit my account and they need proof that my account was debitted. LOOK AT YOUR BILL RUN I AM SURE YOU CAN FIND MY ACCOUNT NUMBER OR HISTORY OF SUCCESSFUL DEBITS. I am not here to tell you how to resolve this issue., common sense should sufice.I will not deal with a generic email address I would prefer dealing with someone that will resolve this issue till closure.

Fraudulent debit of account
I received a notification last night that R 199 was debited from my account by ELIM 3 MOBILE. I have never signed or verbally agreed to a debit order of this nature, when I spoke to them they said I agreed to this in 2007 and they have a recording, I have not agreed to this and HAVE NEVER GIVEN OUT MY ACCOUNT NUMBER TO THEM AT ALL.

Wrongful withdrawal of funds
I was a member at 3mobile in 2008 and the agreement between the company and myself was that it was for 12 months only, which meant that i was member from 01.01.2008 until 31.12.2008.On 24.12.2008 i sent 3mobile an email cancelling my membership, the on 29.12.2009 i received confirmation of my cancellation form 3mobile. However, when i checked my December 2008 bank statement, i found that an amount of R150, 00(membership fee) was already withdrawn on 19.12.2008. Then on 12.02.2009 i emailed them making them aware of this withdrawal and requesting yet another membership cancellation. On 27.03.2009 an amount of R150, 00 was paid back into my account, however on 29.05.2009 an amount of R199, 00 again deducted again from my account. Then on 17.06.2009 i emailed them again making them aware of the deduction. On 20.06.2009 they responded that my money was paid back on 27.03.2009 per ref-231369.On 01.07.2009 i responded that R150, 00 was refunded on 27.03.2009 but an amount of R199, 00 was again deducted from my account without my consent because i have not reapplied for membership. I have been writing emails to them since and they have not responded and have not refunded me.

contract phones x2
I have been with 3mobile for over 3 years, having never defaulted on payments.

At the beginning of this September I purchased an addition contract phone with 3mobile. Unfortunately I lost it and rang them immediately to block it. The following morning they had indeed blocked my phone but my works phone, which they denied.
Everyday I have been in contact with them and they keep saying the same thing that my phone will be unblocked within 48 hours!
They sent me another replacement phone (lost phone) where I had to pay £20.00 plus an additional 6 months on top of my 12 month contract. The handset and phone arrived within 3 days and doesn't work!

My other phone has been sent for repairs, today they have informed me that the phone is not faulty and will be returned to me! The sim was replacement last Tuesday and that doesn't work!

Help! what and where do I go now? MyDirect Debits were paid to them today (£65.00) as they told me if I cancel them I will be liable for additional charges.

I have been without a phone since 13th September!
