I purchased this t.v. on 4/25/09 and called for repair on 11/30/09.The repair tech came to my home on 12/7/09 and said I needed a new panel. He said it would be a week to 10 days for the part. He ordered it on 12/10/09. I called back 2 weeks later and spoke to a tech in home repair dept, they told me the part was being shipped. I called a week later and was told the part was shipped. I sent an e-mail and received a reply that the part ordered had been delayed and they had no idea when it would be shipped. My next call I was told if the part had not been shipped, they would replace the t.v., but it had been shipped. Today I called and spoke to a supervisor and they had no idea when the part would come or if in fact the t.v. was fixable. They would contact me in 72 hours to let me know what was going on.
This t.v. should have been replaced, but I cannot get any one to listen, so I am watching a blurry colored set with no idea of how to get it fixed. I also purchased a 3 year in home service agreement for $469.00 and nothing seems to be getting done. I would appreciate some advice on how to correct this problem, short or hiring a lawyer.Thank you, Margaret Byrne
