5th 3rd Bank Family Trustees !!! July 8, 2011
Family Fbo Trust
This saga has continued since 2004. Our VP Trustee was a puppet. CALL THE FED'S!
In Dec 2011 I was forced into accepting 5th/3rd Bank resignation as my fbo Trustee and sustain from litigation before my well ran dry!
In 2007 I questioned a Fbo Trust K-1 Filing with the 5th 3rd Trust Tax Department rep in Cincinnati. ...Bank procedure is they notify my Trustee. He was notified for 3 years. OOPS! I was told this was a fraudalant K-1 being filed on my behalf to alert the IRS of possible fraud...my fbo trust account was to be froze ...they had not received appropriate tax documentation from my brother. I turned all tax id's into the IRS and received no response. I contacted an attorney. This was a Complex Trust of $3 million+.
I immediately contacted my 5th 3rd VP Trustee and scheduled an appointment. I found myself supplying 5th/3rd Bank with asset information and questioning everything. There was little interest in my dilemma and I was told family trusts were handled differently I was not a Proctor & Gamble. That was before I told them they were missing over $500, 000 in assets as they assumed the small $7800 in my trust was it. They had no clue what my assets even were! I had told my 5th 3rd Trustee and the estate attorney in separate meetings shortly after mom's death that my brother was not to be trusted as he had changed the Will and the Trust 3 months before mom's death while I later found out she was on morephine. I had also had previous business dealings with my brother concerning fraudalant tax returns issues and voiced my concerns to whom I assumed were trusted individuals. I also informed them that the Probate Hearing Notice I never received was forged and now sits in Montgomery County Court I had no clue Probate had happened and I was 1/3 beneficiary. I could not win! They both disregarded my concerns. I told my Trustee that the monthly trust statement they supplied did not reflect all my assets. For 3 years my Bank Trustee had accepted deposits to my trust with no clue from which assets they were derived. He had no respect for my assets! My brother as Trustee had provided me no accounting of my assets nor did 5th 3rd Bank. I provided them a 706 as they had nothing.
My first attorney resigned after 5th 3rd Bank hired an attorney at my expense which I never consented to. My former attorney stated 5th 3rd Bank was short staffed. Our meeting with the Banks attorney was worthless. The promises made in the meeting of providing me an accounting back to the 706 - and the fraudalant filings were no big deal! They even used a different Fed Tax Id# then that on the 706...because they never had a copy until I provided it! They spent my money to cover there tracks! My attorney saw it as worthless and a wasting of assets and told me they would drain the trust dry in legal fees. They did! They simply deducted monthly from my account to cover attorney fees refusing me any withdrawals for medical expenses. 5th 3rd Bank also refused to provide copies of the bills for services during the process and to date. Once my attorney resigned I filed a complaint with the Federal Reserve. They investigated alright and 5th 3rd Bank lied some more and deducted over $70, 000 to pay there attorney from my fbo trust account to represent themselmes not my trust / my mom and dad's hard earned money! I hired several attorney's they could do nothing because 5th/3rd Bank had my rights. They accepted deposits into my fbo trust without tax documentation from Trustee for a three year period. They transferred assets incorrectly and I now have a new attorney but they have resigned but continue to hold money in my trust account to pay there attorney. How can this happen! They are LOOSERS! DO NOT LET 5th 3rd Bank manage your TRUST...Proctor & Gamble Family think twice!

Wow corprate snakes!
My Partner went to open up a checking account at 5th 3rd bank in both our names. The manager opened and told him to have me come in and just sign some paperwork and it will all be good. So i took today off, and went in today to sign the paperwork and they need my drivers license. The reason we chose 5th 3rd bank is because we just purchased a house with them and i have a car payment with them so how convenient. While my Partner was there he got a brochure on Valuing the GLBT Community...

Well LET ME TELL YOU!!! THEY NEED TO LEARN CUSTOMER SERVICE BEFORE THEY START VALUING ANY COMMUNITY. WHATS THE POINT IF YOU HAVE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Anyways so when i went in there there was 2 clerks behind the counter and 2 office had workers in them one with customers and one eating his lunch at his desk.

The clerks behind the counter told me have a seat and someone will be with you shortly.

Well after 5 min of setting there now i'm and older guy!

A young girl walks in. goes to the counter and the clerk behind the counter says to the guy working in one of the offices when r u going to be done with those customers he said in a bit. The clerk who is a tall guy says ok when you are done you wait on that guy over there and i will take her in the office and wait on her...

Her i have been waiting for 5 min and he takes her ahead of me!!! total shock...

well i told the guy who eventually waited on me who is the manager and he said the guy who did that is...

anyways that guy is the guy who opened our account and he never put my name on it.. So now my partner and i will have to take off again and come back and he can add me... Heck no i will go somewhere else that is horrible... And they value GLBT!!! THAT'S JUST BECAUSE THE REALIZE THAT THE GLBT COMMUNITY HAS A WHOLE LOT OF DISPOSABLE INCOME AND THEY JUST WANT IT. THEY DON'T WANT YOU!!!

Botched Auto Loan
I applied for a small auto loan with 5th 3rd, who I have been a member with for almost ten years. After three days, I was informed that the loan was denied. That same day I sent in a co-signer to be added to the loan and asked that it be resubmitted. Over the next five days I was called numerous times asking for extra bits of information. Finally, six days after the second loan had been submitted, I was told everything was ready and I could come sign the papers. I was not happy about having waited nine total days to get a small auto loan and I told the branch manager (Kathryn) about it. She was very rude with me and grumbled, "Well, do you want to sign for this loan or not". We agreed, but were very upset to find that they had tossed out the .25% discount in the interest rate I was going to get by using their "billpayer 2000" service. This discount was agreed upon when I first applied for the loan, but not included when the loan was resubmitted. Kathryn said they could throw all the paperwork out and have the whole thing redone to include the .25% discount, but it would mean having to wait one or two more days. Well, you can imagine the pressure the dealership was putting on me after having the car sit on their lot for ten days while I tried to get this loan taken care of. I didn't think they wanted to wait a full two weeks. So, we went ahead and signed (and lost over $100 due to 5th 3rd's mistake).

5th 3rd added on a $165 fee for applying for this loan, and told me I'd be hit with a multi-hundred dollar fee if I tried to pay it off too early. Our local credit union charges no fees whatsoever. Do yourself a favor and do all your business with a local credit union. That's what I'll be doing in the future.
