7 Eleven Reviews

Rude Behavior of Cashier (2)
On May 24, 2011, I went into 7-Eleven to get a soft drink approx. 7:15pm. I got my super slurpee, and proceed to stand at the counter to pay for the item. There were two (2) cashiers behind the counter on their cell phones checking the weather aloud. One (seeing me at the counter) began calling the other cashier's name to wait on me. Neither cashier moved. They both were continued only interested in the weather report on their cell phones. My first response was to leave the drink at the counter and allow them to pay for it or dispose of it. Finally, I said "Excuse me!" Then the cashier that was closest to me behind the counter turned around towards me and laughed. Her response was "Oh, you were so quiet!" Afterwhich, she informed me of my total. I paid for it and left. Usually, I would have responded to both of their ignorance of correctly handling - the only customer in the store- at the time, the time of day afforded me to keep moving. My response would have been was the reason for your behavior due to your ignorance or your racism.
I really don't know what was the reason for ignoring me at the counter. Could it be that I am an African American or what? Whatever it was I will not shop at this 7-Eleven again. Whether all of the 7-Eleven operate in the matter is something I would be interested in finding out.

Will not accept Debit card payment.
The 7 eleven in Kingsley ave and Indian hill blvd in pomona has the rudest customer service ever!
I was buying stuff and some guy in the counter wearing a white tshirt said "no you can't use debit cards here!"" "we get charged $1 or .50" " I am telling everyone not to accept those cards"!
when I was about to pay for some chips and get $1 cash back. ok so why is there a credit/debit card pad where you can buy and pay for anything? there is no sign of ANY REQUIREMENT to pay at all or minimum. So everyone can't pay for their items WITH CARDS AT ALL? This is a bad area at night and most like I will simply not carry cash. will he tell this to everyone and loose possible sales? This needs to be fixed. I also would like an appology for the rude /racist attitude after.

very rude and very bad attitude
At approximately 11:45pm on12/15/10 I went into the store to buy coffee and a snack bar(total was $2.61). I was a bit slow getting the change out, the owner of that store (old man oriental background) lost his temper and raised his voice telling me "this is not Russia!", without any reason. I sarcastingly replied you meant this is not China!, he got very mad and yelled at me to get out of the store and not to come back. A while back, I didn't file a complaint then with the other incident with that same old oriental looking man. He threw the hot dog on the counter, his reason was that I was 'picky', he said that he didn't throw it, it just slipped out of his hands. He really did throw with an anger. I will never go back to this store again. This is a very bad way to treat a customer..

Illegal Activity/Rudeness
The Manager of this store at 251 W. Montauk Highway in Lindenhurst, NY, Mr. Odk, refused to refund deposit bottles which were purchased at his store. He said I must make a purchase in order to get my refund. That is against the law. I contact Ms. Janey Appia Comacho, customer manager, at Seven 11 Corporate headquarters. She did nothing. I contacted the President of 7 Eleven, Mr. Joseph DePinto, never heard back from him. Real professionals working at 7 Eleven corporate headquarters!!! They don't have the professional courtesy to address consumer complaints.

Boycot this 7 Eleven store. They violate consumer rights and are extremely rude.

Rude customer service by owner
I have given this 7eleven alot of bussiness during the time period that I have lived in this area. The employees have always been very curtious and kind to me, the way a loyal customer should be treated. The problem I am facing is with the owner. Anytime I have walked in there with my girlfriend ( I am gay) when the owner has been present; I have been treated like a bumb off of the street. He will watch us when we are shopping picking up various items and will constantly question our id's and our credit cards. He always speaks to us in a very demeaning tone. Furthermore, what brought me to writting this email, was an incident that happened tonight. I went in to buy my cigarettes and a few drinks, I then picked up the "whose in jail" newspaper because unfortunately i recently had a family member who has been incarcerated. It has never been aproblem before that I pick up a paper while i am in there and briefly looking through it while they are ringing my items. He abruptly takes the paper out of my hand and says "Its a dollar to look at this paper too." I know this for certain- I will never shop at a seven eleven location again or give them an ounce of my money. Furthermore, I have told a number of my friends about this incident (alot of them being part of the gay community) and they too will refuse to give any location any type of bussiness. Amongst evernything else, I will do whatever possible to contact 7eleven corporate, file a complaint, and make sure that this man is either disciplined or dissmissed. I also expect an apology. If any of the demands listed above are not met, I will make sure to make this cruel treatment from seven eleven public; and make sure a band of all seven eleven stores occurs from customers. Trust me, the gay community will not take this lightly. This will not be a problem that will go unoticed. I will also try to my full potential and effort to take legal action for discriminatory treatment. If anyone knows how to get in contact via email to seven eleven corporate, please let me know. Thank you.

If 7 Eleven does not train its low level monkey employees to be polite to customers and not pound and whistle, they will be FIRED.

Rude Service/Incorrect Pricing
Went for "free" Slurpee, they were "out", though the machines looked pretty full. We asked which cup was a large & the clerk said "yes, that's the large". We got to the counter, the same clerk rang up the purchase & it was $1.50 more than the large (a Holographic WW cup, though he didn't tell us the additional cost). This wouldn't have been so bad, except there was a long line in back of us & we had only the exact change, for the large. Fortunately a nice girl next in line paid for the remaining amount.

Quite embarrassed by yesterdays incident & won't be returning to 7 Eleven, Wilson Farms will now get my business

Discrimination
I went into the 7 eleven to buy some milk, as I was walking to the door, the owner rush to the door and lock it and said that it was closed. there were several people in there. I inquire why was he doing this, he said because I was black and that he didn't want any blacks in his business because he was rob before. I told him that I have money, all I wanted was some milk, he finally let me in, I got the milk and as I was walking to my car, tinley park surrounded my car because the owner called them and said that a black man rush into this store. If that aint predjudice, what is it. I can't believe that this had happen in this day and time
