I have been dealing with Stainsafe since May 2007. I was able to reach someone after a few days of trying and started a claim with them. The issue was pen marks on my couch. They claimed that they would send me two new cushion covers...they never made it to me. When I notified them of that they said that they would look into it. After countless calls they told me that they were putting me through to the Claims Resolution Center. It seams that they were not able to get the material that my couch required. I was told by the company that I purchased the furniture from that they would be required to reimburse me the cost of the furniture if they were not able to correct the problem. After many more conversations with them over the last two years I've always gotten the same responce, "I'm sorry mam...it's still with the Resolution Center. Please call back after the claim has been there anywhere from 6-9 months."
So, today is March 24 2009 and I just tried calling again to see where this was going and my response today was..." I'm sorry mam...we don't deal with the Canadian side anymore. You'll have to deal with the store that you purchased the furniture from to see what you can do further!" BS! Now the company that I bought the couch from is closed and they told me that I more or less have to figure this out on my own!
I will never spend any money on any stain warranty's again! This is absolutely the most frustrating and time consuming way to screw your customers.
