I just bought a Hofner Icon Bass from the mail order department of 8th Street Music in Philadelphia. The experience was perfect. I ordered the bass online on a Saturday morning. An employee called me on Monday to confirm my billing information and answer a question I had emailed ("is the item in stock?" - it was). They shipped it UPS that day and I received it the next day. Brand new - double boxed - as described. The transaction could not have been better. Thanks 8th Street!
