On July 2, 2009 I purchased a 97 Oldsmobile Achieva that seemed to be fine in the beginning. I feel like because they knew my credit history and determination to get a car for work and school, they took advantage of me. In the beginning I complained to them about the gas line putting. They said that it was covered under the warranty and that Iwould have to pay to get it fixed. I also had to have the heater cord replaced after only having the car about 4 months. The car needed new tires in which I also complained of this in the beginning. They just ignored me and didn't fix it. I also tried getting my license plates and the representative from UAC informed me that since I referred someone, they would reimburse me of 100.00. So that particular month I only paid 41.00 because my payments are 141.** bi-weekly. Now I am experiencing that my fuel pump needs to be replaced and they tell me the same thing but hound me for payments. They illegally went into my bank account and withdrew money when I cancelled the payment. When I spoke with the supervisor she stated that the payment has beened cancelled in which is was not. I received several overdraft fees on my account in which they only reimbursed me for 1. I really think something needs to be done about this. My loan amount was for 8, 000 in which that is extremely high for a car that had 120, 000 miles to begin with and having these many problems. I would appreciate the oppurtunity to speak with someone about this.
Sincerely,
Tiwanna Foreman
