06/01/2010: I put up order for the furniture of my new home. I paid by credit card, and got an invoice. I also asked for prices for a few additional items from the same manufacturer but not on their website. I was told they have them in stock and will get back on the pricing on other items.
06/02/2010: I got back the prices on my list, and I was shocked. I ordered from A & Y because the prices on their website were at a discount to another source I have. But the prices I got for the items I couldn't find on their webiste, were significantly higher than my other source, plus, they will charge me $145 more for shipping, even though if I could order them in the same order there won't be additional shipping. I decided to go with my original order. The salesman enoughed me to privide proof of my other source and get a price match, as they advertising pricematching on every item on their site. So I did. And also I mentioned I agree to pay the additional shipping if they do the price matching for the additional items.
Later evening, I noticed massive price change on A & Y's webiste, 30% - 50% higher than the price I had in my invoice.
06/03/2010: I got an email from Yvette (I think she is the owner of the company) that they can not honor my order as is, and ignored my request for price matching for other items, but made some other very vague offer. I tried to call them but nobody picks up. Before I even had a chance reply the email, I got an email saying my order was canceled. I lost my trust on this company completely so I told them either honor my original order or I will complain everywhere to let other people know. Yvette confirmed that they won't honor my order. So here I am.
Be very careful if you want to purchase any thing from this company. The salesman I talked to was Adam. However, he seems to be more reasonable but he doesn't seem to be able to make any decision. Yvette makes all the decision but she doesn't know what she is doing. She promises things that she doesn't have intension to deliver. Dealing with this company is a waster of time.
