bad bad bad
What a sad excuse for a company. There should be a law against company's like this! I have never in my 56 years of life dealt with a company who has such an utter lack of concern for their customers and the business their customers give them. I bought a electric water kettle that was made by aroma. The kettle worked two times and then stopped working. The troubleshooting guide in the user manual says to call customer support if this happens, so obviously it is a common problem for this kettle to break or stop working. When I called the customer support office I was placed thorough to a woman who did not sound like she even spoke english very well. I explained to her that the kettle stopped working after only two uses and she asked me several questions that were not related to my problem at all. If the kettle is not working why would you ask me how much water I am using or if I made sure I closed the lid tightly? I was surprised she even asked me these things. When I sarcastically asked if that would make the kettle start working again she said that the kettle has to be full of water and the lid needs to be closed tight for it to work. How is this possible that if the poorly made kettle doesnt even turn on at all that having water and closing the lid will do anything. I told her that obviously I had water in it and the lid closed to find out if it didnt work. Its not like I was trying to boil air for goodness sake. She told me my only option was to take it back to the store. My answers didnt even get answered. I asked her what my other options were and she said to take it back to the store again. The whole time on the phone she was rushing me off, changing the subject, and being so unprofessional and condescending. I dont know how people like this even get jobs let alone work in customer services. The customer support is almost as bad as the water kettle. When I told the condescending customer support that I will never buy any products from them again she had the nerve to tell me that is my choice and quickly hung up on me. Dont ever buy from this company they cheat you out of your money and then expect you to be treated badly and put up with service that is not acceptable. I took the kettle back to the store today and got my money back.
