Towards the end of April, I wanted to see my team (Queens Park Rangers) play a game which would mean their promotion to the Premier League in England. I can not remember the exact site, but I am pretty sure it was American. They offered a one match only trial, so I eventually managed to get into the site, seeing the whole of the second half. For this I was charged USD 2.99 (the equivalent of 2.06 Euros) on 29th April.
When I received my statement for the following month, two amounts of USD 19.99 had been taken from my account - the first on 2nd May and the second on 31st May. At no time did I request any binding contract, as I only wanted to see the one match. No other sport interests me. I have visited my bank and they say that they are unable to stop these payments, as they automatically are charged through my card.
I would be grateful if you could arrange for payments taken to be re-imbursed to my account, and to ensure that no future payments are taken out.
Thank you
Regards
Mr John Bridge.
