I am a Dj who was contacted by "A Solid Gold Sound" to perform at 2 wedding receptions during Summer 2009.
They contated me 3 days prior to the first date (July 18, 2009) and said their Dj was unable to travel to Syracuse because he thought the event was in Rochester, NY. After performing at that event I was informed about the 2nd date which i agreed to do. It took me a month and a half AND threats of not performing at the second event to get paid for the July event. I still haven't gotten paid for the second event which took place on 9/12/2009. I am pursuing legal action in this matter and wish to hear from anyone else who has had similar complaints about this. If there are enough people who have shared my bad experience with this company and its unethical business practices, there is a possibilty of a class action lawsuit against "A Solid Gold Sound" and its owner John Kruer.
