Negligence
35 days ago, a young lady in an SUV smashed into, over my fence on our front lawn. AAA insurance (her insurance company) assured me it would be 'fixed'/replaced quickly. The police had come and made their report. This was reported to AAA that very day, by the policy holder. All calls have been initiated by my husband and myself. There is no question as to the fact that AAA is responsible. I have two five pound toy terriers who use this lawn/when fenced and safe, and since I am on 24/7 oxygen, it is difficult for me to watch them to assure thier safety. I call and call the company, and they assure me it will be taken care of, quickly. Nothing has been done. My 6' fence lies on my lawn, in a lawn filled with glass pieces and glass shards from the wreck. On Monday, I called the main office to ask when this would be taken care of. I was guaranteed a call in the next morning that would take care of all this, and would explain what was being done. No call came. Fence is smashed on the lawn, glass shards all over, sprinkler heads are ruined. This is not acceptable.

Constantly having too pay for renewals
I have had this insurance for over seven years. I have also had their roadside service for the same amount of time. Last year there was a mix up and they cancelled my roadside service. This happened in 2007. I have paid all of my monthly statements every year. This past summer as my insurance was about to paid off for 2007/2008. I received a letter stating that they now require roadside service, if you wish to continue with your automobile insurance. I was told the amount and when it was due. I paid my final installment and went directly into a brance and renewed my roadside service. I specifically instructed the lady to contact the auto insurance division to make sure there would be no interruption with my auto policy. I have not receieved a new auto statement and was just told today that they had cancelled my previous auto insurance policy. The one that I had paid off this year, and the reason I spent over $100.00 for roadside assistance for my husband and myself. I am now told that I would need to purchase a new policy that would exceed $100.00. I am very ill, I cannot work and have not been able to work for the past four years. I am so mad I could cry. My family does not have money to cover a new policy and we have to have car insurance. I was told there was no way around this. Please try to help me. I did everything I was told to do and they have help to "bury me" with this ridiculous clasue. Every year they do not send my new renewal, the past few years they wait over thirty days, and I have to pay for a new policy. Please help me any way that you can. I would greatly appreiciate it. Chose another company for car insurance
I was recently in a car accident and have AAA for car insurance. My car is going to be in the shop for a while so AAA suggested I get a rental and I was told that unless I got a rental car with upgrades I would not have to pay for it so I agreed to get a rental. AAA then set up a rental for me with Hertz. Once I got there though they did not have a car that was $20 a day which my coverage covers so being that I was already there and now in need of a car I was forced to rent a car for $23.99 a day. I tried calling AAA and of course got only voicemail. When I did finally get a call back from them they told me they would not cover the extra $3.99 so as I tried to explain how I feel since it was their fault for not bothering to check if the place they set up for a rental had a car that would be covered by my insurance that they should have to pay for the difference. The lady I was speaking to, Felicia Tucker, would not let me get in a word and then hung up on me. I then called her supervisor, Tony, who not once apologized for his employee's rudeness and then proceeded to tell me how this was my fault and that is why AAA would not cover the difference. One more thing is that Ms. Tucker told me that she had contacted Hertz to see when a cheaper car would come in and that I could then switch cars so I wouldn't have to continue to pay the extra. She told me a cheaper car would come in later this week which would have caused even more inconvenience for me to take time to go all the way down there to switch cars but the next day I receive a call from Hertz telling me they don't even have cars for $20 a day! So now I have been lied to twice once about not having to pay for the rental and once again about there being a car within my coverage limits. The whole reason I even decided to rent a car was because I was told I would not have to pay for it. It also would have been nice if at the time I signed up for my AAA coverage they told me that the $20 car rental coverage would not fully pay for a rental should I need one. Had I known I would have gotten the higher amount. I will definitely be switching to another company for car insurance.
