After storing my goods with the DBN branch for 5 years, I had them delivered in JHB on the 19Feb2010 only to find them in an appalling state. Not only were they badly damaged (soiled, dented, scratched, chipped with missing screws and door handles), they were also one double bed short (base&mattress). To my surprise, instead of my double bed, a stained queen mattress with 2 single bases was delivered. I refused to receive it as it did not belong to me. In scrutinising the original inventory in their possession, A&B Movers had effected some changes to it, ndicating that the bed in storage was a queen bed mattress with 2 single bases -a well calculated act of forgery. In raising this discrepancy with the JHB head office, management treated me with absolute disdain as they instead sent junior and incompetent personnel to deal with my case I was told that this bed was mine as it had my name on it. .Why would I disown my property??As I had paid them all the monies due to them before delivery, I was left clutching at straws with damaged goods and a missing bed, with no one wanting to take responsibility.BE WARNED, A&B MOVERS IS BAD NEWS, YOU'D BETTER STAY CLEAR OF VILLAINS LIKE THEM!!
