I called the manufacturer of my wash machine b/c it needed to be repaired. I was told that a service company would be to my house 2 days later between 8am and 5pm, and I would recieve a phone call letting me know when the technician was 1 hour to 30 minutes away from my home so I could leave work to be there. I recieved a call at 1:07pm. I Was told that a technician was at my home that morning at 8:06...I didnt get a ohone call and when I questioned that I was told they werent allowed to call that early. I was then told that A&E would send a technician back out to my home...I then left work to be there...I waited and waited and finally at 4:45 called A&E to find out if someone would be there still that evening and I was told NO. I was then told that they could have someone back out to me the following day between 8am and Noon...I asked to be the first call of the day and they couldnt promise that even after the no show that day. My husband stayed home the following morning to wait for someone to show up between 8am and noon.
I called A&E just to make sure that someone in fact would be at our house between 8am and noon and the woman that I talked to said my service call was between 8am and 5pm...I told her that who ever it was that I had talked to the day before told me 8-noon and I then told her that someone needed to be at my house by noon. She had to call the technician to see where he was and if he would make it over by noon. SO after all of the fuss the prior day they still count get it right!
By far the worst service I have ever had to deal with. I would never recommend A&E to anyone and if I ever have an issue with an appliance I would request that A&E NOT be called to my house to service my appliance. For a company that states they "provide a professional and enjoyable repair service" I can honestly say there was NOTHING professional OR enjoyable about my experience with A&E.
