This particular AAP store located 1582 E. Commercial Blvd. Oakland Park, FL 33334 is the worst auto store I had been to. After waiting for a cashier at a check out in front of the store for 15 minutes, no cashier had showed up. After waiting for 15 minutes, I've decided to go to the back of the store, to the part department. The girl who was staying behind the counter while popping her bubble gum said "you need help". Yes, I said, I was waiting for 15 minutes at the check out. At this moment, another woman walked next to the "attitute girl" behind the counter who the cashier referred to as "Laura". Laura said there is a sign at the check out, can't you read? I've said if there was a sign, I could've read it, and I'm a professor at a college, believe me I can read, which is true, I'm a professor and teach chemistry and biology at a local college. At this moment, Laura walked to the check out which is located in front of the store furiously, looked around for a couple of seconds and came back, said there is no sign, you have to pay here. I've said no problem and paid my amount. No apologizes for being rude, not having the sign in the front and then blaming the customer for not reading the invisible sign, no thank yous and no goodbyes, etc...
I've been to other AAP stores and had never felt like this, degraded, put down by these two women. Very poor customer service from these unprofessional people. I hope this message finds the right person/place.
Best Regards,
Ersen
