I have never been so humiliated in my life. I went to Aaron's looking for employment, filled out the application, took the personality test and also; THOUGHT, I was hired. I was called in to start work by the new District Manager. I went into work on monday taking my online training classes that started at 8am. By the end of the night the dm came into the office and asked why did I do so poorly on the test, I told him that I didn't have any knowledge of doing so poorly until he just mentioned it, so he told me to take the test over and don't be so honest this time, so I took the test over left the office, I had an 1 hour and 39 minute drive home, he said that he would call me. When I got home he had not called so therefore I called him. Remind you that I had a job that I had been on for four years, before going to Aarons. I asked the dm what did he want me to do he said I will work something out just come back to work in the morning you are still an employee. I drove back to Memphis, tn this morning at 7:30 am and made it to the location at 9am, and started my online training again 30 minutes later he had the store manager of that store to come in and tell me that they could no longer employ me that they had to let me go. Not only had I quit my job but the dm wasn't man enough to tell me himself. I put this out there to warn people to be careful if you re already employed, everything that sounds good and look good are not always good. This was very unprofessional of this company.
