How they treat their employees and customers
I beleive that Aarons needs to shape up. They treat the customers like trash. They do not want to help them. They seem like the product is not important. They just want a sale. They do not know how the product works. They sale people anything; even things that do not work. Wakeup. Watch out for bedbugs on boxsprings and mattress. They also treat the employees bad. Wander why nobody wants to work there.

payment missing
i had signed agreement with aarons in sept, payment number 1, furniture did not arrive until Oct 26, made 2nd payment Oct 20, i have made 7 payment up to date they say i have only made 6, i really need some help and guidance if anyone can help??? I had a yelling match with one of the clerks and when he went in back room my car key was on counter when i turned my back waiting for him to finish what he was doing my car key magically disappeared, i had to get my car towed home these people are nothing but liars and i would not trust them, i have 5 payments left and will have to take them to court because of harrassment and missing payment. Never had so ooo much stress dealing with company in my life.

Treated Poorly
I have leased a Toshiba laptop from Aarons and Ive had it for about 2 months now. This was my christmas present from my boyfriend. I am a single mom and this computer is my only way of keeping in contact with doctors and my family in case my 21 month old gets sick. I dont have a cell phone like most people in the world. Aarons calls me non stop about a payment for the computer. What they dont understand is I have no transportation right now because I was just in rear end collision and I cant get any where to do anything...I have constantly told Aarons my situation and its like they dont have a heart for anyone in the world. I mean I understand this is their property and have every right to take it but if they want their money for the merchandise so bad why dont they come my house to get the money. Why cant they do that for unfortnate people. They have no prblem delivering it and picking it up. I think that they should be a little bit more understanding about some peoples situations. Like I said, I feel that Aarons is doing nothing but harrassing me about their payment. I have made all of my previous payments on time when they were suppost to be paid. I have been a very loyal customer and in return I get harrasses for leasing an item that I cant make the payment on just yet. They should give you at least 30 days to make your payment then come receive their murchandise. Come onAarons give some one a chance

Stay away
Aarons Aarons Overpriced, contract set to rip you off Buford, Georgia

We went to Aarons looking for a TV. We did not have a lot of cash at the time, or we would have purchased one at a local store cash. We found a model we liked, and had it for 2 months. We returned it after 2 months and canceled the contract because we could now get a TV cash. The store did not give me anything stating the contract was now void, or tell me if I owed anything more. I got a statement asking for 116.56 for the remainder of a 6 month lease. Now I have to pay for more than a new TV and I don't even have any TV. This is a big ripoff. The TV contract would have cost twice the cost of a new unit if paid in full. How do they get away with charging so much for this stuff, and how do they get away with using these contracts?

What should have been new
Ordered living room suite under the impression it was a brand new suit. upon delivery the bottom of the love seat was torn away, the sofa legs were missing the studs to mount them. I was promised that they would take care of this issue its been over a month, I haven't seen anyone. I have gone to the store several times to resolve this issue, and to my suprize nothing has been done. I have asked the manager to get me a new suite again they refuse to do that even though this is "a new suite " .

due dates/payoffs
my payment wasnt due until 1/15/2011, aarons called me on 1/3/2011 and wanted to know when i was going to make my payment
it mad me mad they were call almost 2 weeks early, so i decided to pay off bill even tho they gave me 50.00 credits i had comming
this was add bac into my payoff so i ended up paying some one an extra 200.00 i have purchased many item from arrons and had just purchased the last three items i paid off, the manager todd told me thats just the way it is, is this really how you do buisness wow.guess you lost me as a custermer and i have purchased about 10 items from you never been late and always paid of products way before time.

Scam
You have to be born to be a scam artist, this isn’t something you learn. I wouldn’t be able to work with people who act this way towards other people. They act as if they can treat anyone any type of way because you leased from them. Where is the store manager at most of the time? I think he hides when it comes to confrontation. He has his puppets running around doing his dirty work over a three day late payment. What happens when we stop renting and leasing? They will be stacked up in the unemployment office collecting $500 bi-weekly. I guess this is why they take their job so seriously. CLOWNS.
Everyone should stop buying from them. You’re better off just saving and getting it later than to getting it now for triple the price and riski9ng the chance on getting it taken away for one late payment after almost paying it off. Aarons Sales and Leasing ARE RIP-OFFS. Thats why its always under new management...

rent to own
we got a couch love seat fridge an coffee table with end tables weve been paying we missed one payment so we thought an they started calling an harrassing my wife at her work even the payment wasnt even do it was do the very next day the mannager/ owner who ever he is went to my wifes work place an started harrasing her there where she is a mannager now the guy called my wife a crazy bitch she was trying to get him out quietly when he started calling her velgur names they want to take all there stuff back BUT they refuse to send us an ittemmised statement how do we know what weve payed was for our stuff or are they running a scam to steal everones money never intended on letting us or any one keep the stuff they buy if any one is interested an has they same problems lets get together and fighjt these people that think ripping us off is good for there company i dont think it is and am going to fight as far as i can I WILL NEED HELP TO BRING THEM DOWN to prove they are not trust worthy my phone number is 406 351 1240 we can either make them better or shut them down before they ruin every one creddit over a payment that wasnt even do

Unproffessional
I recently moved to fayetteville nc from alabama. Now i had

furniture from the aarons there and paid for and recieved amazing

customer service. now the first time i went into the aarons here it is

on pamalee dr in fayetteville nc, my husband and i walked out because

we were never greeted to begin with. I called back and the young lady

named tabitha answered, i questioned her about the bedroom set and her

answer was well i dont know because the sets get moved around. I then

asked who would know and she huffs and says hold on very rudely. She

came back and said i have to come back in the store and pick it out and

when i went inside it was still in the same location, where as it never

got moved like she said. Now I did pick out a brand new set and she

said i would get the bedroom suite off the floor because they didnt

have any in stock and she reassured me it was brand new. And when I had

picked out the furniture it shoudlve been same day delivery because it

was only 12 when i was done filling out paperwork. Now i got told that

they would deliver it the next day (friday) between 11-3 and i called

at 230 the following day to be told that their truck was broke down but

yet they dont call people to let them know they werent delivering my

furniture. And yet again it was tabitha who i spoke with and got a very

rude experience with her and i said that i wanted a refund because of

her rudeness and how they couldnt do anything they said they could well

her response is if this is a problem you can come pick it up yourself

as rude as she could be.Then she puts me on hold and comes back and

magically says oh we can deliver them today. Well after they delivered

the furniture the young man says on his way out oh im sure you heard

about our truck problems by the way which was a smart ass comment not

needed. well my husband and i then go look at our "brand new" furniture

and theres nothing new about it. Theres was wood chipped out on the big

dresser and paint chippings on the others and they all had gashes in

them looking like someone scratched them with a screwdriver. There were

holes in the paneling on the back and my "brand new" mattresses had a

big tear on it. Needless to say im not happy at all.The delivery

drivers never even gave us our receipts .Then i call back to complain

and the assisstant manager says theyll pick it up monday first thing,

and tabitha had told her we wanted used furniture which was NEVER the

case and even used im sure aarons never wouldve sold this crap. well

they hadnt showed by noon so we went up there and the manager said it

would be picked up tonight at 7 .Now its 8:51pm monday night and they

said theyre scheleduled to pick up my furniture tomorrow after i spoke

to the manager today in the store who had said she wouldnt even be

there today and she said I would get a full refund well Im now without

my money and have damaged crap in my home. The delivery guys also left

trash all in my yard. Well the manager asked where we lived and they

said they thought our house was on base and theyre the ones that

delivered before so they are playing games and i want my money back or

i will be getting my attorney involved. I ended up getting furniture

from the other aarons on hope mills road and theyre service isnt good

either.One the young ladies never greeted us either until some employee

came back from lunch and told them to come over to us and the girl

looked like she was zoned out on something she wasnt listening because

just like tabitha she put us down for wrong furniture which was only

the mattress and boxspring so we have to wait a week until the rest of

the furniture comes in friday, and two we got supposedly same day

delivery and they said theyd be here tonight by 4 and its 9:03pm and no

furniture is here surprise surprise.Everytime i call its a problem with

these people and i want something done about this. I am trying to get

the president of aarons contact info because im taking this the highest

i can go.My husband has taken pictures of all the furniture and unless

something is done about this i will be making this public. This is

ridiculous.The address is 4913 charger ct fayetteville nc and you can

pictures are of the damaged furniture that was supoose to be brand new,

And its 9:17pm and i just called the hope mills location to see where

my furniture is and no one answered and they never called to say they

were not delivering tonight. so now im highly pissed and i dont even

want to pay for my furniture and dont feel like i should after what ive

been through with not one but two locations. This is something that

needs to be taken very serious because the staff at these locations are

ridiculous and again i want something done about the bull ive had to

put up with and go through. Ive never eperienced customer service at

its lowest and i believe aarons should now be on the top 5 of worst

service ever and its left a bad taste in my mouth. I even had taken off

friday for this and i am more than pissed about this and im sure you

understand why. I need a response immediately and it would be more than

appreciated for someone to actually do something about this. I will

email again if neither aarons shows up. They also scratched when moving

things in and that had been freshly

painted. I would appreciate it to just not pay for a bedroom set or

something with all that ive had to go through with this company.
