LOUSY SERVICE/Harrassament
I paid for a washer/dryer to have delivered and was given a spacific date for delivery and time. They never showed up or called. I continually called until finally they delivered it (but they kept telling me it was to late to have a driver do so.) When they delivered it they left me to buy the accessories which were to come with it and left me to install it which they were suppose to do. After a few months I moved and called to tell Aarons to come get it giving them two weeks notice. As to which I called every other day and was always told they had no record of my calling previously and they would make a note. I was also told I could not bring it back to them they had to come and get it. I left three days after my final date for them to pick up, as to which they still never showed up to collect their merchandise. I left the washer/dryer behind at the known location and yet they still harrass every contact they demanded to have in order to rent it instead of going over and getting the dang things. NEVER rent from Aarons. They have no idea how to run a business. I have since contacted corporate...awaiting their solution!

harrasment
i agree with all the complaints that i have read so far aarons is rediculous. if you are a day late they have someone calling you at 8 in the morning and if you dont return that call in two days they send someone to your house. i was late on a payment and they sent someone to my house. i wasnt there at the time so they left and they continued to call me. i sent my husband with half the payment and he told them that i would pay the other half when i got paid the following week. they didnt except the payment and they told my husband that either i paid them all of it or they were going to pick up my washer and dryer. well i didnt have all of it at the time so we didnt pay it. we went home and it wasnt even 20 minutes after we got home and they showed up to our house. we had some money put aside in our daughters bank account so we had to borrow from that. the next time came along and my payment wasnt even due yet and the were calling again and its not just once they call its like 4 times a day to my house phone and my cell phone. it has gotten so bad that now there starting to call me private. i dont not know why this hasnt been put a stop to. what is so damn special about this company that the can treat people like this . all i want to do is pay them off so they will leave me the hell alone. i would never reccomend this company to anyone.

bad bizz
after renting a washer from aarons for 6 months maybe 8, the dang thing broke!i asked to just pick it up its non fixable, they replaced it with another model i didnt like because their cheap.guess what?thats broke too.did i mention i was holding my payment and then i made it when they gave me the other washer?nowww their all rude on the phone and dont seen to care that i gotta spend 40 bucks at the laundry mat to wash all my family of 5s clothes.in this economy all the payments we make we EXPECTwhat we are paying for is worth it.now tomarrow they just wanna pick it up and thats that!!

Terrible company
I have rented from aarons for two years now. The problems started before my first payment was wven due. I was harassed about making sure it was on time. Then when I was laid off my job I was told they would work with me on the payments, since my stuff was almost paid off. Then my washer quit working and the company refused to fix it because it was outside the city limits.

I was told to bring it in and he would try to get there. I got behind on my payments after a death in the family and decided to return everything until I could get everything squared away. The manager told me he did not want to come pick up my stuff and just see how much I can come up with. I went out of town for the weekend, when I returned home my neighbors told me the aarons truck had sat outside my house for 5 hours. Now they can't come fix it but they can stalk my house all day?

As far as other cities stores my mother rents from an aarons in another state and loves them. I guess the one in amarillo just doesn't know how to be nice and hold up their end.

rude managers anad employyes
This is the worst store in the world and who ever they are selling the stores to they need to be watch . Trouble service with the most nastest mangers where do they find them. I will never buy anything from a again. I was with them for 6 years and was treated very poor. They have poor service and very mean peoples. they need to go get a whole team. They need to go!!!BAD!!!

Rude sales manager
A rental contract for a used 70 inch JVC TV I was purchasing. Payment is due the first of every month. I live on a disability check and sometimes, its hard to find transportation on the exact date. On july 1st, 2008. I had a phone call in the morning from Aarons saying I need to make my payment. I explained the situation with sleep still upon me. It was unacceptable to them. I talked to the general manager her name is Lisa. She was rude and obnoxious. I have dealt with a lot of managements, but she is the worst, She is making a bad name for the franchise and something need to be done about this situation. I feel she has a problem dealing with the public and needs to find employment elsewhere.

Terrible experience
Well for christmas my boyfriend bought me a diamond wedding set, he thought until one of the pronges came loose and then when i took the ring to get it repaired the jeweler told me that this ring is FAKE it is only white gold plated and that only one diamond is real the others are cubic zirconia and that the others are just accents. We also found out that the ring is only worth 300-400 dollars at the most and they are wanting us to pay 150 month for 12 months that is just plain CRAZY! THEY MUST THINK THAT I AM CRAZY well we will see what they intend to do about this situation and then add more to this story then!!! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE CRAZY PEOPLE!!!

Poor service!
We rented a TV, had been paying for 3 months, then on Labor Day weekend, we took off on a trip to look at some property in northern NV where we bought some property. My wife works overnight shifts, and I am self employed where I work an hour/half from home. We got back from our trip that Sunday, and thought we would take care of all bill that were due that following Saturday when we are both home. Well Aaron's didn't wait a day over our due date, that they were sending an employee to our house. Not at a reasonable hour. The first time the guy came by was a little after 6am! My wife had just got to bed, when the door bell was ringing and pounding at the door!! She told him we would take care of our payment that Sat. when we could come in. Two days later same guy came knocking (pounding) on our door again!! This time was around 7:05 am!! My wife told they guy NOT to come around so early and said we will take care of it!. Then three days later that Sat morning, the same guy (again) showed up a little after 7am!! This time I was home!! I told him NOT to every come to ur house that early!! He laughed at me and told me he could come any time he wanted too!! I them told him to get off my property or I would call the Sheriff! he once again laughed at me!! I was really mad, so when my wife got up we went to pay the bill, then decided to call them and pay over the phone, while we were on hold waiting for them to process our payment, the manager came on the line, and started yelling at my wife, that his employee made a police report against me for threatening him!! What kind of business do they run?? They are worse than loan sharks!! No professional business would ever come knocking on someones door so early in the morning!! The manager said to me that he wanted them to come and pick up our tv!! Then he told us that they are charging us $10 for every time they send some one to our house!!! Convenient for them, when the guy lives right here in this little bitty town? Isn't it just a "bit" unreasonable to send someone over, not only that early in the morning, but 3 times in one week, when my wife specifially told him we were on a trip and coming in to take care of the payment in 7 days???... We called the corporate headquarters and made a complaint. The business is a franchise we were told, and the owners nema is 5 star corp and a man and wife owned it, he also gave me their names... The complaint was sent to them. We should be hearing from them on Mon or Tues. This is ridiculous, they took our payment and now want to come and pick the tv up! We have a 6 month agreement with them, how convenient it is for them to take this back??? Our suggestion before leasing anything from Aaron's is check them out before leasing with them. Even though Aaron's has a standard policy for all the franchises, we are told by corp headquarters, that because it is a franchise, the run things the way they want to. Even if they are out of line. But they CAN get in trouble if they cross the line. They can have their franchise license revoked... Beware!!
