Rude Manager
I have been a valued customer of Aarons for years. I have purchase many high end items over the years, and have always been pleased with the service I received for my local Pearland location. Currently I am purchasing a washer and dryer and had requested that my payment due date be moved to the 20th of each month. The original manager agreed to the arrangement and noted my account. The new manager Lisa Perez refuses to honor my due date change and insists (agressively) that the late fees that I refuse to pay will be added to the end of my note. I have filed a formal complaint with the corporate offices. I will not be a return customer at this location in the future. Future customers beware...

PC AGENT
I have first hand knowledge that WGC LLC DBA Aarons was using the PC Agent and the owner is trying to cover it up. Mike Williams had first hand knowledge that the software was being used and to what extent. He has told ALL of his Managers to lie about the situation. They have closed down their access sights for all of their stores and are still trying to hide the fact they were involved.

wont allow me back
I was renting a freezer from them I paid so much a week. I got a call from my trustee asking why dealing with them? I told them why anyhow Trustee told them not to allow me credit I was told there is no credit checks. Anyhow they still wont let me back in so I dont bother asking prob uselless if I did but new trustee dont care what I do. Anyhow dealing with another company I been with them since DEC 2010 I wont say name but I thank them for there help. Best of luck AARONS thanks for the friendleyness as well.

Class Action Lawsuit
As a former employee of Aarons, I can fully state that YES they have installed a program on to all computers sold. It is called PC agent and was mainly used to track stolen merchandise. However over the years rumors begins to spread about how people were using it to spy. The program takes random pics if the machine has a webcam installed, and yes it does key log all information. As of the start of the class action lawsuit, the main corporation and all franchises were informed to deactivate the program before the lawsuit spread too greatly. However the one setback is that the program can only be commanded if the computer is online. If it is used for all offline gaming and such then the program should be easy to find with the proper know-how. However the program is also capable of shutting down the computer if it is inactive for 60 or 90 days i think. Alot of people are unaware that they are being watched by their own items but I for one can no longer sit back and watch personal and private freedoms be whitewashed by a company that thinks it can do anything because it has money.

Nathaniel Thomas
I'd like to notify you about Nathaniel Thomas. I've notfied his manager Brian Welch and nothing was done. I know first hand Nathaniel steals from the company for example hdmi cords, power cords, surge protectors, random tools, ps3 controllers and t.v. remotes. I also have witnessed him using the company shampooer for his own personal use. He's also used the Aarons truck to move into and out of an apartment. He sells and buys drugs on the job examples premethazene pills and weed. In beween jobs he'll go home or do his own personal things he needs to take care. I don't think this is uitable behavior for an employee and would like it to be brought forth what is going on. Bad business
Where to begin... We first replaced our broken refridgerator through Arrons in Nov of 09. Everything was fine until 2 weeks after we payed it off it died. We called arrons and they said there was a 60 day supplemental warranty and they would fix it. They brought us a used stainless LG that was much nicer than ours as a loaner while they were troubleshooting ours. After about a week they called and said corporate would not authorize them to purchase replacement parts and fix ours but there was a good chance we would be able to keep the used LG stainless fridge instead. They stated that they only had to replace ours with a better or like item. About five days later our old fridge shows up in good working order. When I asked the delivery guy how they fixed it he said "we have our own system." I am pretty sure my fridge was fixed with used parts. Fantastic.
Next we made the mistake of using them to replace our outdated washer and dryer. Whoops. The set were delivered and because I did not have the old ones out yet I asked them to leave them in front of the garage. Apparently they dropped them off the truck because when I went to start the dryer it sounded horrible. THey Again brought us a loaner and replaced the broken motor mount on the dryer. The washer lasted about another week before we noticed it filled and drained continuously and would stay in the same cyle for hours. Long story short they had to pick it up and "fix" it three times before we got it back.
02/06/11 I must be stupid for going back but here I sit on superbowl sunday with a newly installed LCD T.V. mount above my fireplace and no T.V. The sales staff wrote me in for yesterday to have my 47" delivered. I called at 445 last night and again they assured me I would have it last night. Guess what? If I ever get my T.V. I promise it will be my last purchase from this crooked company. Thanks

Liars and not holding up to agreements
My husband and I leased a laptop through them. First off with in a month our new laptop died. It took over a month to get it back. That is really not the part that I am mad about though. When we leased it my husband and I had our own company. Well the company ended up going under and our last payment from a customer ended up bouncing. We kept in touch with them and always let them know what was going on. For a while we were giving them what ever we had and stayed on top of the payments. Even with 3 kids and no work or money we kept finding a way to pay them. Before a guy named Jessi came to work their everyone was wonderfull and did work with our sittuation. Once Jessi came into the picture everything went wrong. We both went out and got jobs and we keep making arrangements with him. He keeps going back on his word. The last payment that we made was $200. Jessi told my husband that he would give him a call to see if we could make another payment of $60 to get us to the first of the month. He said he would do that because we did not know if we were going to have it. Well he never got the call and with out warning the locked our computer. I called in and Jessi stated that my husband was supposed to be there to make a payment. He also went ahead and said it does not matter what I said it is not in the contract to give you a currtisy call. For me it's not about getting a reminder call the face is we told him that we did not know if we were going to have the $60 to bring in and he said he would call us to see where we were at. It was still a verbal agreement that he went back on. My husband also gave him his number to call seeing as calls do not go through on my phone at work. Jessi stated that he called 19 times. when I asked what numbe he called he said it was my number. He first said he forgot to log my husbands number than he said my husband said he would call him with the right number than after that all in the same conversation he said he never had the number. A few times when they called I gave them his number to call. All their calls are recorded and it the face that there was a verbal agreement makes it a contract. Jessi has been nothing but rude, has lied repeatedly and has gone back on what was agreed upon. He also refused to give me corporates number saying there is not one person higher than him. I work in a call center and know the laws and the way he has been acting is not how you should have someone represent your company. Never go their they will treat you like crap.

assult on my fiance and harassment
On August 23 Monday evening, my fiance Latasha Archie was home with the kids. She was up stairs, while the kids were down stairs. When the kids heard a loud noise from the back door like some one was trying to break in kicking the door. They were scared, and ran upstairs to get their mom. Tasha came down stairs where she heard another loud noise that shook the back side of the house. She went to open the door and leaned her head out to see what was going on and the guy from aarons name Wayne pushed the door and hit my fiance in the head with the door and forced his way in my house. she told him i was not home and he needs to speak with me and he started yelling in my house at her in front of our kids. This is very unacceptable and form of service, They have been poundind on my door neighbors are complaining to me about the disturbing loud beating and kicking on my doors. I called and spoke to a Damon the night of the 23 of August about the guy pushing the door and hitting my fiance, and he said he would have done the same thing, all he want is his merchandise returned. I want some justice done about what took place in front of my kids, and the abuse that my fiance recieved from Wayne. I have not contacted a lawyer at this time, but if Aarons can not compensate me about the assualt situation their employee Wayne and some discipline actions taken, I will be forced to obtain a lawyer.

BAD Business
I have been dealing with Aarons sales and lease for a few years now bought things out right, rented to own a few things. (Paid in Full as agreed) I am now 13 months into a TV rental and after all these years I have been late maybe 2 times. My Brand new LG tv has some sound issues so I called to get a service call. They came to pick the tv up and gave me a USED loaner had my LG in repair for 3 months when they brought it back it was dusty and did not look like it had been touched. I hooked the tv up and guess what still didn't work Hmmm big shocker. The delivery man said the part cost 30.00 I asked him what the service center did and he said he didn't know so i asked what the 30.00 part was he said he didn't know. I then called the store to fill them in. They said the service center couldn't find anything wrong with the tv. (then what is this so called 30.00 part) And they asked if I was satified with the loaner tv. Well the loaner tv does work was my reply. They said they would roll over the money to the loaner tv. I said then I want it at the used price he said absoultley NOT. Because the 2 tv's were the same age. But the LG my first tv was brand new out of the box when I got it. The loaner JVC USED tv was in a crack house. He said it didn't matter because they were the same age. Now when you buy a NEW item from aarons it costs more then a USED. But what he's telling me was that it didn't matter if 5 people had this tv in their house before me it was still considered NEW because it was the same age as the brand NEW one in the box. This Guy I think is on CRACK!!! Does he think I am stupid. If I hadn't already paid 1600.00 dollars I would tell him where to shove it. Now i'm not one of these peoople who doesn't pay their bills. I have a Hummer I own a House I work hard for my money. I went to aarons because rather you pay by credit or rent to own your still gonna be paying out your ass. So my plan of action is going to be I'm going to aarons right now demanding the service and repair order. Showing them where it states that my product is under warrenty and under contract states they are to repair it. It seems to me we may have a breech of contract. I also want the price of both tv's new and old . I have already put a stop payment notice into my bank. I will NOT be paying them. I will be telling then not to call my cell phone there is a law and that is the TCPA (telephone consumer protection act). They can not call your CELL phone if you tell them not to. I will also tell them not to come to my house or step foot on MY property if they do i will call the police it's called trespassing. And I did clearify that with the police. I do have plenty of contacts They have messed with the wrong female. Now if they call my references they will tell them not to call again and if they do thats called harrassment . Now they might not be a 3rd party collection agency but there are still laws they must follow. And there is a law that is called rental theft in my state it goes by how much is left to be paid on the rental item. I'm in the process of printing all the complaints I can find against Aarons to take to my lawyer. Im not gonna give in to this piece of shit company they will not screw me over. I guess it's gonna be a case of who takes who to court first. If you have had a problem with this so called company please feel free to contact me. who knows maybe this will be a huge class action suit and everyone that's been ripped off will get revenge on AARONS.

bad customer service
I am a customer with aarons have purchased a washer and dryer from aarons before i got into this agreement witrh them about my furniture. I have 3 more months to pay on the furniture. they came and got the furniture 12/11/09 saying i owe 407.00. past due of 181.00 and i have to month in advance. I feel that is very heartless being that i have invested over 2, 000.00 in the merchandise. I have 4 kids ranging from 16 to 9 months. So now we are on the floor until I can come up with 407.00. I know aaron is a company that have to do what they have to do but what also happended to valued customers. I even asked the accounts manager if I could pay half of the amount and so Ican finish paying of my furniture. Its so sad to see how companys take advantage of people like this they wait until i get down to 3 payments and come take it well that is my complaint makes me wonder if the whole rent to own process is a scam.
