refused to pick up
I TOOK OFF WORK SO AARONS COULD PICK UP THEIR FURNITURE I WAS RETURNING DUE TO EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERIVCE. I CALLED THE COMPANY EVEN TO CONFIRM THEY WERE COMING AND THEY DID NOT EVEN SHOW UP NOR DID THEY ALL. N OW, THEY WILL NEED TO PICK UP ON THE HOURS I AM AVAILABLE AND I WILL NO LONGER TAKE TIME FROM WORK TO ACCOMMODATE THEM. I WILL LET THE POLICE KNOW BEFORE I SET THE ITEMS ON THE STREET.

poor customer service
I was in the process of purchasing a complete bedroom suite and a 32" television from Aarons and they would not work with me on a late payment until my nxt paycheck so they therefore sent one 1 individual in the pouring rain to pick these items up so they can resell this merchandise after it has been taken out of my house in the pouring rain. I think they could have given me a chance or at least waited till the rain stopped to pick this merchandise up. I t was not like I was going anywhere with the furniture. I am sure I am not the only one trying to make it on her own.

Awful company
Me and my wife leased a 52 inch TV from aarons half way through our TV stopped working. aarons brought us a loaner TV after a few days(3)it was the same model except it was used and had damage to the screen, after only two months later the loaner TV did the same thing as the first one.we contacted aarons and was told they didn't have any loaner TV's at this point we were a couple payments ahead so we asked about transferring are account to a different TV.the manager told us that would be ok. when we get there and pick out the new TV which was about the same price overall as the first one we were told that we had to pay fifty-five dollars in order to be current on the new TV.when asked why we were told that they would only credit about four months to the new TV, she would not tell us a specific dollar amount only the amount of months.we had already paid fourteen months on the original TV that equals 1680 total.after doing the math they only gave us 500 in credit.
plus she said we would no longer be ahead on the payment(just like the 130 dollars just disappeared)when asked why she had no explanation.now we will have to pay on the new TV for 20 more months at 179 a month.if we wanted to have the old fixed, or get our original back it would take several weeks and we would still have to make the payments while we waited.to me it seems that I was just scammed out of 1180 dollars and I'm sure I'm not the only one.i cant just sit idle will this is happening to people all over America. these people are taking advantage of people who don't have the credit or the cash to buy these things out right.i feel there should be something done.

Rude, dishonest and need to be closed!!!
Let me just say that Aaron's sales and lease should not be in business to do business at all! They are most unprofessional, unpleasant company/people that I have dealt with in my entire life. I purchased a washer and dryer from Aaron's and I only owe like $80.00 bucks on it. Well, I made a payment at the end of June for my appliances and had not made one this month. Now granted the payment was late and I did receive a couple of calls from Danielle (that B*&$H) in reference to my account. Well, I go outside today to call her back to set up a payment arrangement but before I go, something told me to check my account. I did and to my surprise Aaron's has debited my account (by debit card) $75.74 and my account was overdrawn by $71.00. I immediately called the store and spoke with Danielle. She basically told me that I had called in and authorized Aaron's on the payment. Now, I know I am not crazy why would I authorize a $75.00 payment and only have $18.00 in the bank. I told her that was not true and that she ran my card without my authorization. Long story short, she was very rude telling me that she would send the Sheriff to my house for the merchandise and everything. Then on top of that she hung up the phone on me. I was like WOW this chick needs prayer. I didn't call back instead I said a quick prayer and called my bank (Bank of America) they immediately told me that once the charged posted they would credit it back to my account. Aaron's needs to be put out of business. The mangers are incompetent 2nd rate employees who couldn't make it in a real corporate setting. I hate the day I got the merchandise from them but like I said I only owe $80.00 on it. I will pray for Ms. Danielle because what she doesn't realize is that God is going to convict her for running my card without my consent and putting me in the hole leaving me with no money. So if there are any Aaron's employees are managers reading this comment...I feel sorry for all of you in that God will and is going to condemn your company for how you treat regular paying customers.

Disrespectful to customer and "thug" actions toward customer
A sales person name Gene disrespected me in his tone and acted as a thug as he spoke to me. He tried to threaten and black mail me into making the other half of my payment. I was upset by the matter and asked for his supervisor and he gave me the name and telephone number of his regional director. However the regional director has not called me back. Thus I am now ready to give my complaint to the CEO of Aarons Sales and Lease.

Harrassment and bad customer service
Me and my girlfriend purchased a computer from aarons in june of 08 setting our payments for the 15th of every month and the first month we recieved a phone call saying our payment was late this was approximately the 5th of august. we called the store and they admitted it was a billing mistake and said there would be no more problems in september the same issue arose. finally after the 3rd or 4th month i contacted Sean Hutten who is a district manager. He acted very sorry said he would straighten it out wich i believed he finally did. 1 month passed without a problem and then the phone calls started saying i hadnt made my payment these calls were placed to my work family and friends. Which i could understand if i was late but i never have been. today i recieved a phone call from my grandmother asking why she was recieving threatining call saying they wanted there computer back. We have never missed a payment today is the 11 of april and my payment is not due till the 15th. i have contacted the owners of aarons but it is a weekend and i cannot reach freedom corp or aarons sales and lease by phone so the calls will continue till monday please help me i am at a loss of what to do next.

Illegal business practices
My husband purchased a computer from these idiot's last October. He did a 12 mo. lease. We had to move and after making 10 payments on time only owing 2 payments we had to be late because of the move. They called constantly, left nasty messages, came to the house banging on the door, put some kind of firewall on the computer so we couldn't use it and then decided without my permission since the had a copy of my credit card on file to just go ahead and charge it for the full 2 payments. Not only did this just put me in a horrible financial situation, they did not have my premission at all to use the card, was never notified that they did so and to make things worse I am not even listed on my husbands account! The only reason they had my card number is because I had used it a couple of times to make a payment which means they kept the information from my card! These people are dangerous, thieving, criminals and have no concious what so ever. So if you don't want to pay twice what something is worth and then have your personal financial information stolen from you, stay far away from Aaron's.

Fraud and lies
I rent a 52 inch JVC from the aarons in Fullerton, CA. They are very argumentative and they lie. They claim they have been to my house when they clearly haven't. I work from home so i would know if anyone has come by especially since i have a dog and the dog would bark. They have very bad customer service. I am ready to give the tv back because i am tired of their condescending attitude. I've been late a few times on payments and they call and are very rude. They claim they left a note which i did not receive and when i call them on it i get some lame excuse that it blew away.
