Ab Circle Pro Reviews

Rip off
I surprised my sister with this thing on Christmas Day a few days later, while assembling, she noticed that the frame was bent away from the red disc. Upset and dismayed, she wanted to return the item for a refund, if not a prorated refund( installment plan). the CSR rudely refused to let me speak to a supervisor. he said he can send me out another item. Why would I want 2 AB Circle Pros? Plus the Co. charged my card for nearly twice the amount in January I want to send the defective one back and get a refund.

Back Pain
Purchased the Ab Circle Pro and after putting it together noticed that they had included extra knee pads as a sort of "patch" for knees hitting the bolt that connected the attached pad. Using the extra pads caused the user to slip off of the machine causing possible injury.

After using the machine for a few days my wife and I noticed back pain from using the machine. Visited a Chiropractor who suggested that we stop use of the Ab Circle Pro and the back pain is gone.

My advice is DON'T buy it, and if you have one that you can return then do so immediately. I tried to return mine but as I was 2 weeks past the allowed date they would not help me. So I welcome a class action suit against this product and company ASAP.

Plastic wheels
Bought this prouduct for Christmas. Can assembled except handels knee pads and counter. In less then 10 minutes of Testing the fiberglass wheels started chunking off leaving deep groves in the red disk. I have never seen a price of exercize equipment fall apart so quick in my life!! Needless to say I returned it to walmart for a full refund of my 223.00 .. Plastic wheels on a plastic disk = friction. I should menchen for those of u with a few pounds to lose. I weight 110 pounds and thought this would just b a good way to tone my abs. There really is no short cut to lose weight or get toned.. Hard work sweat and tears is truly the only way to go.. This product is plastic crap. There is no real service altho they automatic emails are sent out . Telling u to call them with any problems. Unless ur punching in a credit card for an order.. It will hang up on u otherwise . Don't waste ur time or money or gas to return even if u get ur money back!!.. Ps . Walmart costomers.. All books.nuts . Bolts.. And plasic bags are expected for full return :$

bad parts
I purchased this machine August 2009. I used it for about 2 weeks and the rollers started to "melt", leaving shreds of plastic on my floor. I contacted ab circle pro and they sold me a 3 year warranty for $30.00. they also sent me a new machine. They told me the design of the rollers was bad. The warranty is to cover the machine in full for 3 years. I received my new machine in 10 days. The rollers on the new machine have started to melt. I cannot get thru to customer service to get new rollers that are supposed to be covered under the warranty.

Can't Return Item
I ordered this item via the internet. Got a card in the mail saying it would be backordered. I received the item about a week later. I NEVER opened the box, as I had been thrown from a horse a few days earlier. My husband is a physical therapist and suggested I DO NOT use the product because of the probability of further injuring myself. After a few weeks, I called the company because they kept billing my credit card. I informed them that I wanted to return the product, but could not do so because I only had a P.O. box. I was given a return authorization number by the CSR I spoke to, but no physical address. UPS and the USPS will not deliver large packages to P.O. boxes. I called back the next day, and was told that I could NOT return the product because it was over 30 days! Why then was I given a RA number to begin with. I was told that the person I spoke to made an obvious mistake! Obvious mistake??? I would not be allowed to return it and still owed $119.85 for it. I contacted my credit card company, and they were also of no assistance. I tried to contact the company again, to try and find out which state they operate out of. Well, it is NOT California. So you can not report them to the California Attorney General's office. You can not get anyone to tell you where their headquarters are located. Can anyone, or does anyone have this information. I am stuck with a brand new, still in the box product, and they want $119.85 even though I can not use it.

roller slution
Some units of the Ab Circle Pro may experience rollers failing after a short period of use. A new roller upgrade kit is available from the manufacturer at no charge by calling 1-800-983-6905.

Scam
I bought an AB Circle Pro excersizer in June. It has slippery plastic knee cups which makes it very hard to keep your knees in. My knee slipped out and I fell hurting my chin and tearing a ligament in my right hand. Then bearing started falling out of the machine so when I used it big chuncks broke off the machine. I can't use it and my need surgery on my hand. I called the company three times and was told someone would call me back. No one did so I wrote to their main office. I never heard back from them. Dishonesty- Read before purchasing
I was going to purchase thise equipment to tone up (I was literally getting ready to input my credit card info) but decided to do some research. After checking out the complaints board I went to the Better Business Bureau website (www.BBB.org) and followed up. Their rating is an F!
Not only that, but read the following that I got from the BBB website and BEWARE!!!

This company's product, Ab Circle Pro, is marketed by a locally based fulfillment center. The company actually appears to be located in Austin, TX. The product is advertised with a 30-day trial for a non-refundable $14.95 and $34.50 in shipping and handling fees. Your trial period begins when you place your order and includes processing, shipping, and transit time. If the product is not returned before the end of trial period, the customer agrees to make 5 payments of $39.95. Returns are not accepted without a Return Authorization Number (RMA) and must be postmarked within 7 days of the RMA being issued. Customers should review all cancellation and return policies prior to making a purchase.

By agreeing to the trial offers' terms and conditions, you have also agreed to receive a 60-day supply of nutritional vitamins every two months for $29.95 plus $6.95 shipping and handling per month, billed as Fitness Complete on the account the order is placed with. FTC Guidelines for advertising this type of offer require that all terms and conditions of the offer, as well as cancellation instructions, be clearly and conspicuously displayed in at least 10 point type before asking for payment or obtaining the customer's consent. Clearly and conspicuously means, NOT disclosed in microscopic print at the bottom of the webpage, but rather, disclosed along with the trial solicitation.

Regardless, many consumers overlook the advisory, and are unaware of the charge until their monthly credit card or bank statement is received. In this company's case, although the website states this shipment can be cancelled at anytime, consumers complain they are unable to cancel the program and they cannot contact the company by phone or email. Emails are not returned or acknowledged, and calls are not returned. Industry guidelines require marketers to provide a fast easy method of canceling, either by mail, phone, or website, Failure to do so may be a violation of consumer protection laws.

Most credit card issuers will allow the cardholder 60 days to dispute an unauthorized or inaccurate charge. Review your monthly statement carefully. If you discover a charge which is unfamiliar, investigate and dispute the amount with your card issuer as soon as possible to protect yourself from making unwanted purchases.

Deceptive website/practices
Buyer Beware - You May End up with TWO instead of one. Watched an advertisement on Saturday for the Ab Circle PRO. $14.95 plus S&H of 34.50 for a 30 day trial. Okay, So I went on-line to their website. Reviewed the compalints and reviews for this product and decided to purchase it. The website was unclear AFTER the first page as to how you wanted to purchase this product. I chose the one-payment option of 199.75 plus S&H. The next page offered to save 30% if paid in full. So I clicked on 'YES' When I submitted the order there was no review of your purchases to double check the order to see if there were errors. "Thank you for your order! It is being processes and will be shipped promptly. Due to overwhelming demand for this product, we're experiencing delays in shipping." THANK GOD THERE ARE DELAYS because I found out that I had ordered TWO at the cost of $413.60. I checked my credit card on-line - no charge had been made. I quickly called Ab Circle Pro. Not open until Monday. I e-mailed them - auto response. Called my credit card company. They documented everything. On Monday, (today) I called them. Charge authorized to my account TODAY. Can't do a damn thing because the order is being processed already. Nevermind that I sent them an e-mail explaining my error and stating that since there were delays this should be easily fixed. NOPE! I must wait until I receive TWO and RETURN ONE. I then contacted my Credit Card company again and documented what just had happened. THey were more helpful. I need to wait until I receive TWO and return One before they can do anything. I told 'Tabitha' from Ab Circle Pro that there site needed to have some 'checks and balances added. She said that 'she would pass it on' Some how I think this is part of their DECEPTIVE MARKETING. I will follow up and let you know what happened.

Missing parts upon delivery
I received the ab circle pro in my home about a week ago. The strange thing was that every single part was there except two of the end caps. I immediately got on the phone to customer service and to this day, after a week of calling, no one will answer the phone. It says to call during off peak hours but even during those times you get the recording and they hang up onyou! I have e-mailed customer service twice now because there is no downloadable form to submit with the missing part info. I received an e-mail from customer service to contact customer service! This is the craziest thing that has ever happened to me. I'm too busy trying to get my missing parts to have time to work out on the dumb machine! I cannot get ahold of a real person either way to tell them what has happened and try to get this resolved!
