We rented a 30' Class C RV from ABC Motorhome and Car Rentals in early August 2010 for 2 nights/3 days. The Pros of the place are that it provides shuttle service from Ted Stevens Int'l Airport (a couple miles away); it has a community table of excess/unused food/utensils, etc.; the company provides fresh linens and towels; and the RV was clean.
The big negative was that the worker who showed us the RV and gave us a half-tutorial misrepresented to us that the RV was "self-contained" and with "normal" use, we did not need to drain the grey/black water lines. Our experience was far from that.
The worker gave a very poor overview of the operation of the RV, and the only way we knew how to use it was by asking her a dozen+ questions ourself. When we arrived to Denali later that night, with minimal use of freshwater/grey/black water, we had to take showers. Less than 10 minutes into the very first shower under regular pressure, the water ran out. It turns out, when checking the gauges, that ABC Motorhome and Car Rentals did not even fill the freshwater tank when they gave us the RV. Also, the grey water drain backed up. ABC Motorhome and Car Rentals did not even drain the grey water tank when they gave us the RV. So at midnight, we had to drive to the other side of the large RV park, drain the grey/black water, and fill the freshwater.
When we discussed with ABC Motorhome and Car Rentals the need to reach a common solution (i.e. partial refund or agree that we don't fill up the gas tank), they refused to discuss any such solutions. This is a poor way of doing business.
