On the date of May 9, 2011 my 2002 Ford F250 had some mechanical problems at exit 56A on Boulder Highway in Henderson Nevada. I called Triple A roadside assistance and asked for a cab and a tow truck. Cab showed up in about 20 minutes and the tow company finally showed up 2 hours later with the most rude driver named Mark from ABC Towing . I informed the driver if he could tow my vehicle to the Lake Havasu City Ford dealer which was 134 miles away and keep in mind Triple A was to cover the first 100 miles. I asked to be left at the Railroad Pass Casino to wait for my wife since she had taken the cab to go get a rental vehicle, as the driver was dropping us off he received a call that he needed to go back to Las Vegas to retrive another tow. He informed whoever was on the other line that he was already on a tow but as soon as he dropped us off I watched as he headed the wrong direction. I attempted to contact ABC Towing to ask why my vehicle was going the wrong direction but got the run around. Long story short I finally arrived in Lake Havasu Ford dealership 4 hours later and my vehicle was still not there. I again contacted ABC Towing and they advised me that they did not know where there driver was. The driver was called from my personal phone and he advised he was just outside of Las Vegas enroute to Lake Havasu. Two days later my credit card was charged for 199 miles of tow service when I was only 134 miles away from my destination. A call was placed to ABC Towing but got the run around about my bill. I asked for the work order to be faxed to me and it had no information of where my vehicle had been picked up or taken to on top of that it had the wrong vehicle information.
I truly believe this company is and has defrauded the members of Triple A and feel that they will continue to do so in the future. I will be following up in contesting the charges with my bank and ABC Towing of Las Vegas because they are a rip off.
