Found them as low bidder on GetAFreelancer.com for a $2, 000 project: http://www.getafreelancer.com/projects/386040.html hiding under the handle "Maestros".
They did not want to have funds in escrow (I found out later why).
They wanted to be paid in full, up front.
I paid 25% ($500) for the completion of the first phase.
After 3 months with no progress, they produced copyrighted material from a book I thankfully owned (by Sun, of all vendors).
It took 6 months for them to finally stop making excuses and stopped corresponding at all. It has been 1 month since any correspondence.
Why 3 months is important: GetAFreelancer.com will list a project as complete, and you CANNOT go back and give feedback (good or bad) after that time! I am now unable to warn other GAF buyers of this vendor.
They are thieves, plain and simple. Avoid doing business with them at all costs-regardless of the alias they are using at the time. I have promised them that I will spend a lot more than $500 of my time and money to warn others so they may not do business under that name again.
