I ordered a purse online at the end of January 2010. There was a defect in the bag, so I attempted to contact them through their "Contact Us" form to obtain return instructions, but received no response. I finally went back to the pay service I had used for this transaction and obtained an email address and wrote to them. (There is no phone number for Customer Service.) Without exception, every email I have received from them has been nasty. It took 2 months to receive a replacement bag. Once received, I wrote to them requesting reimbursement for my shipping charges to return the defective bag and received this response, "Nothing in our terms and conditions says anything about shipping and handling charge's refund.", and, when I pursued it, saying "You shipped me defective merchandise. Why should I be out the money I had to pay to return it?", their response was "We had to pay for the shipping to send the purse back to you. We've said enough already and no longer will discuss this issue."
Don't buy from aboutrends, no matter how cute you think the merchandise is - it's not worth it!
