A few weeks ago, we received a call from "The yellow pages" requesting address and general information of the company to update their records, for which we confirmed the information. Right after that, we received an invoice for a website creation which of course we did not authorized.
As soon as we received the invoice, we called back to request proof of our authorization which they said they had phone recording from our secretary accepting the creation of said website. We told them that if they have that conversation and can show it to us, we would pay for it, but they never called back with said phone call.
One week after the request we received a collection letter saying that if we do not pay such amount, they will affect our credit. We called back, but nobody answers the phone and looks like the new collections office phone number is re-routed to their offices in Canada.
We WILL NOT pay for a service that was never accepted nor solicited. this information will be forwarded to the proper agencies.
