I received a collection notice from this company for www.Goyellowpagesonline.com. I had a problem with the Go Yellow Pages company a year or so back and called the Better Business Bureau in New York. They had numerous complaints on them and were even able to tell me what they had said to me.

They said they were illegally operating in this country (they are from Canada) by using New York box. I immediately suspected the collections company for them and am afraid to even contact them since I have seen the problems others have had with their pressuring them.

I been contacted by a collection agency asking me to pay for the Regional Yellow page advertisement that we have never signed up for. I told them that I am not going to pay $500 for something that I didn't even sign up and told them to dispute it. Few months later, I got a phone call from a guy who identify him as attorney's assistant, and told me that I need to pay the amount right away, because my service is still on with the yellow pages and the bill will go up everyday and with his legal knowledge that I am going to have to pay a lot more if the case goes to the court. I told him that if that is what's gonna happen, then I will pay for the bill because I didn't want to harm the business and plus, I trusted his legal advise. However, I decided to make sure if the ACA recovery really exist, and I found out that they are just a collection agency has nothing to do with the attorney.
