Through a third party received a trail sample. Supposed to be no charge. Jan 8, 2009 a $74 dollar and change showed up on my credit card. Total scam including the floks I talked to about the free sample. Be careful.

I fell for the "free trial" bait also, but thanks to a posting that gave yet another toll-free number, I (hopefully) have effected a cancellation and a refund of the first charge. Call 888-255-1208. I dealt with a customer service rep Syreeta #323 ...this is a service for a number of companies apparently. I'll believe it when I see the refund on the statement, but talk to your credit card co's...their charge dispute departments and write to the return address on the bag in which you received the product telling them to cancel. You are not trapped forever!

I, too, thought I was ordering a free trial of Acai-aSlim as advertised on Oprah's website. I was charged the $4.95 shipping on 11/23/08. This was followed by a charge of $79.95 on 12/08/08. When I noticed the charge, I called the company immediately asking that it be removed. It was explained that the fine print enrolled me in their monthly auto shipment unless cancelled. I asked that it be cancelled and the $79.95 credited to my charge account. She assured me it would be (that was on 12/30/08). However, unknown to me, I had been charged $79.95 again on 12/28 and as it turned out, that was the charge which was credited back to my account. The first $79.95 charge was never credited. So, in effect, I was charged $84.90 for a "free" trial.

I was also charged $19.95 for a www.fit-fac.com membership; when I called about that, the young lady was very pleasant and agreed to remove the charge and cancel the membership.

When I called Acai-aSlim a second time, I spoke with Whitney (1040) who claimed she was not authorized to give me the company address. I asked to speak with a manager and she claimed they were all in a meeting. She did, however, offer to let me leave a voice message for Cory, which I did. He never returned my call. From there I went online and read the complaints of others; I also printed out the Terms & Conditions on the Acai-aSlim website (5 pages in all). In effect, there really is no free trial and I agree with others that this company is not a reputable one.

THIS COMPANY IS ALL A SCAM...WHO CARES IF OPRAH AND DOCTOR OZ SAYS IT... DOESNT MEAN IT TRUE. THE PRODUCT DO NOT WORK!!! THEY CHARGE YOU BEFORE THE TRIAL PERIOD OF 1 MONTH IS EVEN UP!! WHATEVER YOU DO DO NOT ORDER THESE PRODUTS. I AM TRYING TO GET ALMOST 300 DOLLARS BACK THAT THEY HAVE STOLEN FROM MY BANK ACCOUNT!!

I ordered Acai-aSlim with a shipping only required charge of $4.95. I now have 3 unauthorized charges for $79.95, $29.95, and $79.95 on my DiscoverCard. My husband is unable to take Acai-aSlim with his other medications. I am contacting DiscoverCard to make sure they are aware of what is obviously a scam. I also left a message for a call-back from Acai-aSlim.
