Dumb for playing into this scam

Scam / Fraud
I agree with everyone, they take forever to answer the phone and claim you never called to cancel. They also don't give e-mail confirmation nor do they give you a cancellation number. They go by other names such as Detox Trial (800-349-1196) and Berry Trials (800-249-6032). When you're placing the order or canceling during your free trial period, they should really nice and considerate but when you call to dispute, they are nasty and state that you didn't call and didn't read the policy - it states very clearly. They also are under another website - www.acaiberrybreeze.net. They argue that they aren't responsible for what name appears on your credit card statement. It's annoying and frustrating but I suggest everybody who had issues to file a complaint with BBB, I believe the more complaints they get, this company will be bad listed and hopefully they can assist us.

TOTAL SCAM-BEWARE
Ordered a free trial for $4.95 shipping and handling. Charged for full product cost of $87.00, as well as enrolled in a recurring product shipment and membership. When I tried to cancel, the phone appears to be disconnected, and e-mails go unanswered.
Complete and total scam.
Should not have been endorsed by Oprah or Doctor Oz. Shame on you

FRAUD
My complaint is the same as every one elses on here. I was charged over $80 feach for a "free" trial of this stupid bottle of acai berry and colon cleanse. I called and spoke with a customer service rep who told me I was too late to cancel the charges but they would cancel my membership and not send me anything further. We'll see. Someone needs to stop these people!

unauthorized charge
I ordered and postage of $1.95 for a free trial bottle of ACAI BERRY BREEZE. Approximately 10 days after I receved the bottle they have debited my debit card for$87.13. When I call them they say they have not done this. On my bank statement it says Rain Forrest Berry. Please tell me what my next step should be.b2dd3

Repeated telephone calls
I receive 3-6 calls from this number every day, which I do not respond to. On the one occassion I did answer the phone there was no one on the line. I called the number back and there was a recorded message saying it is not a working number.

UNAUTHORIZED BILLING
I ordered the free trial bottle...it arrived in a couple of days...never opened it ...left for vacation. While doing some online banking on vacation, I noticed I had been billed for $83.95 for more of this stuff...this charge caused an overdraft on my acct. I've never received these additional bottles and as I call the ph# given I can never reach anyone to take my calls...I called my bank and they will NOT allow any further payments to be withdrawn from my acct. This 'free trial offer' has brought much distress...now more disputing must be done !..and from what I read on the complaint line, I am only one of MANY who are disturbed about how deceiving this product is. Its too bad, because I have heard many great things about the REAL product found through legit means. I'm also being charge an 'international fee' and I thought this came from AZ.

scam/bait and switch
This company offers a "free trial period" that is false advertising. It does not tell you until you are checking out and entering your credit card information for the shipping and handling that if you don't cancel within 14 days you will be charged the full price of $88.90. The website is set up so that portion is down far enough, so if you don't see to scroll down like I didn't that you don't see the fine print of the "Satisfaction Gauranteed" portion of the ad. Once you've placed your order you do not get an email conformation or anything like that. I just looked for the $4.95 charge on my account initially. The bottle of Acai Berry Breeze did not show up until the 10th day of the so called free trial. There was no information with the package...just the bottle of product. I had no way of knowing that I needed to cancel my "subscription" with the company since I missed the fine print on the website. I saw the remaining charge on my checking account today...which is when I called to find out what it is for. The customer service rep treated me like I was ignorant for not seeing the fine print and was no help. I have no doubt that they deal with this kind of compaint everyday. They had no anwser to the fact that I only had 4 days to try out the product to see if it worked or not...I haven't even tried it. I am embarrased by my stupidity...I hope more people do their research before buying this scam of a product! Sincerely, Elizabeth

removing 127.00w/out premission
I made an order for the Acai Berry Breeze #622225, Because the offer stated that it was a 14day trial. well when I called my bank I see that company has taken $127.00 dallas from my account. when it should have been only $4.98 for S&H. I made this order on 06/25/09 it hasn't been 14days. when I tryed once i did get someone on the phone which takes forever to hear a human's voice. the person(lady) informed me that I could not get my money back If I canceled. The offer is a Lie, and I want my $127.00 replaced into my account.
