I ordered Free Trial Samples from Vive3 Ltd. The product didn't arrive until after the 15-day "Free Trial" period. Also it was my understanging the intial capsules were "free" and only subsequent shipments of the 2 products would be charged for .
To my surprise, the $133.98 that was charged to my Mastercard turns out to be for the intial free trial capsules.
I explained to the Customer Service in the "UK" that I received the product late (in fact after the free trial period). I also informed the representative that both products caused such adverse reactions with me that I actually took the Acai Berry once and stopped for fear of the contents of the capsules. The capsules caused a burning knawing sensation in my stomach as if the inner lining of my stomach was being chewed. 29 of the 30 capsules are still in the bottle.
I had taken the Life Cleanse for 1 week and have 44 of the 60 capsules remaining. As are result of taking the Life Cleanse my skin was itching in spots and breaking out on most of my skin surfaces with red itchy patches on my legs and arms.
In speaking with the Customer Service Rep., 2 different ones in my case, I immediately found them argumentative and accusatory with very little effort being made to listen to the "customer". I was hung up on twice and it was clear the company they work for had no interest in being in good standing with the public.
I questioned the onus and liability of the "Company" that delivers products late or that provides no recourse to the customer who has adverse reactions to their product - amongst other complaints.
In my case, I am willing to return the unused portions of their products to substantiate the amounts remaining, but the CSRs that handle the calls are very uncooperative, quite willing to "blame" the customer and extremely abrupt.
The point I was trying to make with their customer service staff was where does the "free trial" part come in? Why can I not at least be refunded for the unused portions of both these (questionable) products?
At this point $133.98 CAD charge on my credit card that I was not expecting has caused a lot of distress. I am a single parent on a fixed disability income. That money could have paid for some much needed clothes that my 7 and 3 year old sons need. Canadian winters are so brutal.
Shame on you (for lack of better terms) "people" running your online scams to further your bottom line!!!
