Well, even though my sister warned me to make sure I returned the trials in time, I had a hellofa time trying to get my money from this company. For one thing, it says on the website in fine print that you have 19 days free trial, but everywhere else in big print it says 30 day money back guarantee. I ordered my free trials of acai and colon cleanse on 9-21-09. Received them 9-28 and 9-29. Being one of the people to not see the 19 day trial time, I thought I had 30 days. 30 days from RECEIVING THE PRODUCT. BUT THEY START THEIR TRIAL PERIOD THE DAY IT SHIPS OUT, in my case 9-22. So your first 7 days of your free trial are gone in shipment. Then you have 10 days to try it, and one day to call them to cancel. It took 2 hours and 4 agents before one finally told me I could ship back my unused portion for the 30 day money back guarantee (even though I was past 19 days trial.) BUT, you have to make sure your post-mark is within 30 days of the day they ship it to you. (and how are you supposed to know when they ship it???) After a long 3 hour ordeal, I took my packages to the Post Office and will wait to see if I get ANY refunds. It's hard to go in sequence for this complaint, because there are many. Another problem is, they have what they call a "cross promotion." So if you order one thing, you get 3. The sales dept calls you to get you on tape saying that you approved the trial. But they called me 3 times. I thought it was the same ONE product and asked if they knew they had called before, and they assured I would not be getting duplicate orders. But I did. And in 2 weeks, I had almost $400 worth of charges from the company. $.99, $49.95, $.99, $79.95, $1.67, $79.95, $1.67 (foreign transaction fees are these little ones...they don't tell you about those), $79.61, $3.95, $79.61, and $3.95. They said I could get the money back for the products already in transit (are you kidding? you've sent more after just 3 weeks?) but they could do nothing for the 2 trial product charges of $79.95+ each. Like I said, it was the 4th agent who finally admitted that even with the 19 day trial, I still had a 30 DAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE. But when I asked for the RMA #'s, he said because it was the last day, he needed to transfer me to a supervisor. Just so you know, I don't think there are supervisors there, because I was on hold for 35 min. the first time, then hung up and called back and asked for a supervisor and was on hold for 45 min. before hanging up again. I think they want you to give up. Finally I wouldn't let the last lady transfer me, and insisted she give me the RMA #s herself. She did so, but tried to tell me I had one more day before my 30 days ran out. That way, I'd get it in too late and they could re-neg. Then when I said, no this is the 30th day, she said, well you can't possibly get it back to us today, so forget it. I said, no, you told me I needed a post-mark today, not that you needed to receive it today.
But had it been 30 days since I got the product? NO! I got it on Sept. 29th and today's the 21st of Oct. SO I THOUGHT I WAS GIVING THIS ALL PLENTY OF CUSHION. IT WASN'T LIKE I WAS WAITING TIL THE LAST DAY TO CALL THEM. But since they start the clock on the day following your internet request, it really doesn't matter when you get the product or how long you try it! JUST DON'T DO IT IN THE FIRST PLACE!!! I thought this was all going to cost me 99 cents each for 2 trials. It ended up costing trial costs, plus shipping costs to me for 5 things, plus return shipping costs to them of $25, becasue you have to return each bottle separately with a separate RMA for each one. So, 5 separate $5 priority shipping boxes. That's $14 shipping to me, and $25 shipping returns, so this FREE TRIAL COST ME $39. And I still don't know if they are going to pull some other crap saying I did something else wrong on the returns so they won't give me the money back. What bullshit. DON'T DO IT DON'T DO IT DON'T DO IT!!!
