I went to my doctor yesterday for a check up and was appalled at what the scaled read when the nurse weighed me. I decided it's time to get down to business and start dieting. I had always wanted to try one of those energy boosting, rapid weight loss pills but the ones in drug stores are astronomically over priced. So I Googled cheaper alternatives, and came across the 14 day trial of Acai Berry Detox. It stated I would receive a bottle worth $87.13 for FREE if only I pair shipping & handling $3.95. I entered my credit card info, submitted my order, printed out my confirmation page and was anxious to receive the product.
I began researching Acaiberry to see if there were any side effects and I can across this website flooded with complaints about an online scam for this exact product. My heart skipped a beat and my eyes widened as I realized, that I too had fallen victim to this scam. I called the Customer Service # provided on my confirmation page to IMMEDIATELY cancel my order, and the sales rep said I was not coming up in their system but to call back in 3 hours and I could cancel it then. YEA RIGHT!! So I could call back a few hours only to find they charged my account already? NO THANKS.
I quickly called my bank and canceled my debit card, which in it of itself is a hassle for me because now I have to wait 5-7 business days for a new one. This really puts a damper on my weekend. :(

People, heed this warning, DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS PRODUCT. As my mother said "There is no quick fix to weight loss. Eat healthy, work out and drink plenty of water. You should know better, nothing in this life comes easy."

ESPECIALLY not Acai Berry Free Trial Weight Loss Pills.

I received an email stating Free Sample of Maybelline Mascara and clicked on Submit when I did so it brought into a screen advertising Acai Berry Detox so like a fool after reading the advert I input my details for the Free Trial of the above and just pay for the P & P. Once I had submitted I could not get into any screen for the Free Mascara so it was to dupe you into subscribing to their pills. Anyway received the pills and I thought that would be the end of it .. Then on 22/06/09 I noticed £82.95 had been taken from my account by this company I contacted my Bank but they advised nothing they could do as I had given my details but are now looking into for me. I contacted the company and as previous complaints they said i shoudl have read the T & C's as it states if you do not send the Free Trial back within 15 days you then start a monthly subscription. I am horrified and they will not refund my money even if I return the pills...I have emailed them numerous times stating they have duped me and many other people and asked their connection with Maybelline but they refuse to answer. I have been in contact with Maybelline and they are also investingating as they are using their good name. This company should be wiped off the net and looked at and investigated as they are ripping people off. Has anyone else had an email with the Free sample of Mascara as Maybelline need this and I stupildy deleted. it . If anyone has this please contact me...

I ordered the free trial for shipping cost. Today, I cancelled the order, which was well within the 15 day trial period. Was told over the telephone that the order had been cancelled and I would have nothing further to do; that I did not have to send back the remainder of the product, etc. This evening, I checked my bank account online and found a charge of $87.13. I have not been able to talk with anyone from the company. Did chat with a customer service agent online at myordersupport.com and was told that to get a refund, I must return the product to their return address in Hollywood, FL. I will try to talk with someone again tomorrow and, if nothing else, will return the product to their return address I was provided. Just wondering if anyone has received a refund by returning product.

Company advertised a 30 day free supply of this supposed fat burning dietary supplement. You are asked to supply a credit card to pay for the .99 shipping charge. I did so and .99 was charged to my credit card on 06/29/08. I was then billed $82.31 on 07/13/09 by the company. When I called them, they told me if I opened the product, I could not return it, and was being billed for use of the product. I told them the advertisement did not say anything about a charge, EXCEPT FOR SHIPPING. THIS WAS SUPPOSE TO BE A 30-DAY FREE SUPPLY! I was also informed by my bank when disputing this charge that they have done this to many people and I would have to cancel my card because they keep charging you. Beware!

OK, here is my story. I found a website telling a story of how Helen Miller lost"47 lbs of stomach fat in just two months". According to "Helen" she purchased these two free sample products and achieved phenomenal weight loss: Elite Acai Blast & Colon XR cleanse. Well I bit, went to the links and ordered the products. Not only did I not receive the products I ordered, I had a charge of $82.31 on my debit card. The products that I received were Acai berry Detox and Natra Pure. The $82.31 was from the company with the Acai berry. They have assured me that the charges will be released back into my bank account, and that any further shipments have been canceled. The other company the lady on the phone argued with me for a half hour about canceling the product order. I hung up on her and called back later. The woman I spoke to said my order had in fact been canceled. The next day, I find another charge of $82.31 from a completely different company. I call them and they told me I was charged because I didn't cancel within the 15 day trial period. Well, I ordered on 6/27 and canceled on the 10th. That is 13 days. After arguing with her for 10 min she assured me that the charges would be released back into my account. What a nightmare!
