SCAM
DO NOT ORDER a free trial of Acai Berry Detox. SCAM!! They will charge you 6 times totaling $89.57/MONTH without consent. ALSO**VERY IMPORTANT** I finally spoke with a "supervisor" last Thurs and was told I would receive a refund for my last shipment. The next day the charges were off my credit card! I couldn't believe it! When I checked my statement yesterday, I have 6 NEW charges all for the same amounts...the twist...last week the charges were payable to ACAI BERRY now they say RAINFOREST BERRY!!! I called back today and was told that they are not RAINFOREST BERRY...WHAT?!?!?!!? I just finished sending my complaint to the Better Business Bureau. I have NEVER been so upset about a product/customer service/refunds :( DO NOT ORDER THEIR PRODUCT!!!

Unauthorized charges
I too ordered Acai Berry Detox and Bromalite off of the websites and paid a small shipping and handling charge for my 'FREE' samples. It's not free if you have to pay even one cent.
I cancelled within their posted time frames but they both debited my bank account anyway. $87.13 and $69.95 respectively. I called both places again today and demanded a refund.
They said without a confirmation number I probably wouldn't get one. I told them that I had better get a refund or I was going to post about this all over the internet plus report them to the BBB and Attorney General, etc. etc.
I am furious about this. I don't see how they can get away with it. What a rip-off!
I also wrote a letter to my bank explaining about all this and showing them the debit amounts and asked them not to honor any more debits from these companies.

I ordered ACAI Berry Detox and cancelled within their 14 day cancellation policy, however, if you click on their policy it states 15 days. You don't get a cancellation number not that it would have mattered because this is a scam. Their cancellation website doesn't work, again not that it would have mattered. They still charged my credit card even though I cancelled.
This needs to go to a class action and someone needs to stop them. I'm out $87.13 and had to cancel my credit card before they charged it again.

I too fell for this scam, I ordered the acai berry detox and within the 15 day trial period I called cancelled, well I thought I cancelled. A couple of days later I was charged 87.13 for their product I called and told them I had already cancelled and they said they didn't have any record of it, so I told them I would see them in court bacause I had phone records to prove it. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and Florida State Attorney General. I have also found a lawyer that is preparing to file a huge lawsuit against them, everyone who has had this problem needs to go to acaiberrylawsuit.com and join the efforts in bringing this company down and getting their money back.

AND I HAD AN ALLERGIC REACTION TO IT AND HAD TO GO TO THE DOCTOR.THEY CHARGED ME $87.13 AND WOULD NOT GIVE ME A REFUND. THEN THEY CHARGED MY ACCOUNT A SECOND TIME FOR $87.13. I HAVE NOT EVEN RECIEVED THE PRODUCT. I CALLED THE COMPANY AND THEY SAID I WOULD HAVE TO GET AN RMA NUMBER AND RETURN THE PRODUCT. I NEVER EVEN ORDERED A SECOND BOTTLE IN THE FIRST PLACE. THIS ACAI BERRY DETOX CRAP IS A SCAM!! THESE PEOPLE SHOULD HAVE A LAWSUIT AGAINST THEM SO THEY LOSE ALL THE MONEY THEY HAVE STOLEN FROM HARD WORKING AMERICANS WHO HAVE UNKNOWINGLY FALLEN INTO THEIR MONEY STEALING SCAM.

Not a real free trial, read the fine print
I, too, was tricked into the ACAI BERRY DETOX, your free trial is 15 day supply, but they send you a 30 day supply and if you do not return within the first 14 days, you are automatically charged $87.13. Please read the terms and conditions, that are in very small print.

Detox pills
I had seen the web site but neglected to read the complaints. I ordered a free trail of detox on June 1 2009 . I got a call telling me they were conferming my order, and that I would be getting another product to try. I said OK the next day 39.95 was taken out of my account. I called, 11 min. later i was hung up on. I then called the number again, and cancelled my order. I am still waiting for my money. When I finally got a hold of a custemer service rep, I was told that I would not be gettig the 3.95 back for shipping and handeling. She was going to submit my complaint to the finace DEPT. How can they keep getting away with this!?!? Can the GOV. Investigate?

taking $ out of my account
I just found a charge against my C-account with out authoritation, listed as Clean Life. I was not informed of a monthly charge or membership either in writing nor verbal. Getting in touch with the company is a laugh! Will close out my account to stop charges! Do NOT order ACAI Berry Detox...

After seeing the advertisment on the MSN home page and reading the testimony of the girl, I figured for 4.95 shipping why not. Three days later i got a call from 888-584-0883 and a man started asking me for information, then told me he needed the card number again so he could give me a 5 didgit confirmation number. I told him the money had already been withdrawn from the account and he persisted to try and get my card number. I told him I wasn't giving him anything, that my product should already be on the way since its been payed for and he hung up on me. We have cancelled our credit card so they cannot charge us for anything else. Remember, if it seems to good to be true, in this day and age, it is!
