unauthorized charges
Do not ask for a "FREE" sample of Acai Berry Detox or Life Cleanse from CW. Besides the product doing nothing but giving you diarrhea the company will charge you $87.85 for the "free" product. Additionally, they will put you on a monthly cycle and charge you over and over again for the product and will not permit returns or refunds! This is a "free" sample you cannot afford to accept. Don't get sucked in like I did!

nonauthorized charges
The same as all the other complaints listed, ordered products and terms and conditions were unclear. Charged shipping and handling then charged for product. When called they cancelled any future products being shipped which we were unaware of but are not willing to refund our money.

cancellation
Last month I ordered the free trial of the detox. After the product was tried I called the 866 number to cancel. The person I talked to gave me an authorization number and told me the matter was taken care of. This past sunday while going through my bank statement I noticed the company had charged me $83.oo plus 8 or 9 dollars for shipping and handling. I would like to have my money put back in my account. The Number is was given by the support guy is 697562 I will also be notifying my bank to put a block on my account so this doesn't happen again

Scam
This is a scam and I advice everyne who ordered this product to put a cancellation on your card and have a new one reissued. From this point on, I make make all of my purchases on the internet with a prepaid card with only the amount required.

False Advertising
I placed an order on April 18, 2009, for 14 Day Risk Free Trial in the amount of $3.95. I didn't even receive the product to evaluate when on April. 27, 2009 I got my Acai Berry Detox and a charge of $87.13 to my Visa Check card was issued on May. 4th, 2009. I called Customer Service and spoke with a CSR and explained my situation and I was asked if I read the terms and, which I did. I was placed on hold and instructed to send product back, I explained that I did not try the product yet to have the full 30 day supply amount of $87.13 to be charged yet. I was told my account was activated on the date of the order Jan. 20th, which means that is the first day of your 14 day Risk Free Trial. The Rep (not a very well English spoken guy) asked if he could help me further. I asked him to give me the RMA # (Return Merchandise Authorization) # required to send the product back, even though I had not tried the product, which he did. He informed me I would be charged another $87.13 in 30 days for my next shipment, I advised him I wished to CANCEL any further shipments and request a refund upon the company's receipt of my purchase. The Rep didn't even give me the return address; I had to look it up under the return/refund policy, which you send it to another city in Florida.

misleading advertisement
I fell for the free trial offer of $5.98. I admit I did not read nor did I notice anything on the web site that told me I had 14 days to cancel or I would be charged $87.13 for the "FREE" bottle. When I received my Free trial offer, there was no information included in the packaging that told me to cancel in 14 days or be charged. When I did realize that I was charged $87.13 I immediately called my credit card to get a phone number for this product. When I did reach someone (of course they had an Indian accent), this person did not tell me I was being charged for the free trial bottle. She said because I didn't cancel the order that I was now being charged. I said if I was being shipped some new bottles, that was fine with me but to cancel any future shipments. This person never once said I was paying for the free trial bottle. She implied I was paying for a new shipment of the product. I will never buy over the internet again except from very reliable companies. This has burned me so bad and left a very bitter tast in my mouth. This company should be shut down for false advertising and misleading consumers. Shame on them.

Not a free trial. I was charged $87.13 twice with double shipping and handling
I wanted a trail only. I have high blood pressure and no where in the ad. Mention any precautions. When I recieved the bottle I saw the precaution. Also I recieved another bottle plus I was charged $174.26. This is not a free trial. This is fraud! I want my money back! I will give the products back.

HUNG UP ON WHEN TOLD THAT ORDER WAS CANCELLED
I called to cancel this product the same day I ordered it after reading all the complaints. Someone from the company called me today to confirm my order and to send some colon stuff...Once I told her that I cancelled my order I was hung up on!!!...This place really is a scam and I have already called my CC to let them know that if I am charged for this item I will be filing a complaint...

Ripped Off

Acai Berry Scam
I was charged the first month only 4 days after receiving the trial that I paid $2.00 for. I have now been charged $87.13 and an "International Fee" of $2.61 for a total rip-off of $91.74. I am in the U.S. so this does not make sense. I had printed off the Refund and Exchange Polcy from the site when I ordered the trial sample. The Policy states that you have "14 days from the date the product was originally shipped to you for a FULL refund". The Customer Representative told me the policy is 14 days from the date I ordered the trial. They refused to acknowledge what I had printed out in front of me.
This is a total rip-off and I hope people stop making money for these crooks.

Unauthorized Charges
Unlike all of the other complaints, I never even signed up for a free trial offer of the product. I happened to log into my credit card and find two charges (one for $2 and one for $1.95) as well as other random charges (9.95 to AcneMd, $1.95 to CPIpay.com/n-remedies). I never made these purchases and now I'm receiving them in the mail! I'm less than 100 lbs, there's no reason for me to purchase acai detox berry. My credit card number must have been stolen and sold to these companies setting me up in these recurring payment schemes.
My credit card company told me to send the products back in the meantime, but I can't even get in touch with Acai berry to cancel whatever account I may have!
